Bought another version for my 5k Imac and it ran for 6 months and then randomly pooped! Customer service was really good about working with me on resolving this issue and Im very thankful. This card works great! Loving the faster speeds. Current set up two 4gbs and one 16gb and computer is running great. Glad I went with Crucial for the RAM

Works in an Imac 21.5 5k 2017
The memory works fine in a Imac 18,2 21.5 5K 2017, put 32GB on it.

Easily installed if you know what you're doing
Crucial delivers a great quality for price stick of RAM. I watched a video on how to open up my Dell G15 prior to installation, so I knew what I was in for. It was easy to add in my model. The stick popped right in and the bios and OS recognized the new RAM immediately upon reboot.

Realmente cumplió todas las expectativas que tenia con la RAM incluso llego a ser mucho mas, ahora tengo RAM de sobra es muy raro que me computador empiece a superar los 16GB lo que significa que ya se me cerraran los programas, la compre principalmente para solucionar unos pantallazos azules que me salían a cada rato y ahora funciona lo mas que bien y algunos juegos que antes me iban mal o regular ahora los corre bastante regular o muy bien claro esta que aun tengo juegos que no podría correr por los demás componentes que tengo pero al menos esto es un progreso

Works perfectly in my 2018 iMac
Just purchased this for my 27" 5k iMac. It took 2 minutes to install and began working instantly. The computer recognized the added memory right away. If anyone was on the fence about doing it themselves or was afraid it won't work with their computer, I can attest it worked perfectly for me!

Not for imac 5k retina, 27 inches 2017
I don’t recommend it to apple imac 2017 users, it made my machine mad. My imac stopped responding, ram will show in the memory that it has been updated but it will not actually work. I faced several problems when I installed this ram. My imac stopped responding, unable to turn on. This ram might be a great product for other computers but not recommended for imac 5k 27 inches 2017

RAM Para iMac 5K
Para todos aquellos que no lo saben y quieren cambiar o incrementar la memoria de su iMac, Macbook Pro, etc. Les recomiendo ampliamente este modelo y sobretodo esta marca. Puede que no sea muy conocida en México pero en el gabacho es ampliamente usada. Solo basta revisar los reviews de Amazon USA para darse cuenta. La Marca Crucial no es la más barata pero si es de las mejores especializadas en Mac. En el caso de las iMac fíjate si la tuya tiene una tapita en la parte de atrás, justo arriba de donde se conecta el cable. Es muy facil añadir o intercambiar los dimms. Solo tienes que tener cuidado de escoger el dimm que es compatible con tu computadora. En este caso estos dimms son perfectamente compatibles con las iMacs 5k de 27" 2017 y 2018. Hay que tener mucho cuidado al escoger memoria RAM para Mac. Aunque puede parecer que muchos modelos le quedan, no es así. La más pequeña variación y tu memoria será inutilizable. Este modelo cumple exáctamente lo que Apple pide y además el fabricante lo está menconando en la descripción. Aparte estas son dual channel, lo que te permite tener dimms diferentes por sector. Por ejemplo uno de 16gb y otro de 4gb (el que viene en la mac) y así tendrás 20 ó 40. Te la recomiendo mucho si quieres ahorrar mucho dinero. Instalarla en una iMac es muy pero muy sencillo. En una MacBook Pro también es sencillo siempre que no venga soldada a la placa base. Esta es una compra casi mandatoria para todo aquel que invierte en una computadora de estas características. Inclusive si añades 8 gb extras a la iMac de entrada el cambio en desempeño es impresionante. Lo mínimo que debería de traer una computadora así son 16Gb. Pero todas traen 8. Espero que te haya servido mi mini reseña.
