I don’t understand the negative reviews.
Nothing short of amazing. But remember it’s about BTUs with heaters. You are talking 5200 here. A round kerosene heater is 23,800 BTUs. So if you need that level of heat I suggest kerosene over this. This is supplemental heat. Take the chill off. It’s not meant to heat your whole house like a kerosene heater would or your gas furnace. Kerosene also will work when your power goes out in SHTF situations whereas you probably don’t want to waste 1500 watts of generator power on this heater unless you absolutely have to. So this tiny heater at only 1500 watts puts out some serious heat IMO. Park it 15-20 ft from you, set it to 68 on eco with the oscillator on and you’ll be thinking about shorts in half an hour. The thing is amazing IMO. Online sites say this can heat a room anywhere from 400sq ft to 1000 depending on whom you believe. I’m not sure about 1000, but it’s a lot closer to 1000 than 400. If you are going for 1000 have a fan to move that warm air around and don’t think this little box will magically do it for you. A home HVAC system has registers all around for that same reason. Distribute the air! Build quality. Wow. It’s not cheap. I mean it’s particle board and plastic, but it’s quality. Nice wheels on it. Nice display. Nice remote. Even comes with batteries which I never use because I don’t trust batteries included with products, but I am sure they are ok. Humidifier works wonderfully. Not sure about reviews claiming it leaks. Did you read the directions? Put in BOTH O rings??? Remember to use distilled water. I can’t speak to longevity yet, but I have read reviews of these getting very high up in years. I’m impressed. The keys with this unit IMO are: 1. The fan. It blows the heat and gets it out into the room. 2. Oscillation. I’m sure that makes a big difference because it’s spreading the heat around. Bonus if you stop it the fins stay pointed in whatever direction you stopped it at. 3. Eco mode. It stops and starts nicely. That will save you some dough ray me. I was worried about the reviews and if you are too don’t be. IMO it’s a winner, but remember it’s 5200 BTUs.

Great heater, don't be discouraged by reports of leaky humidifier adapter.
This is a great heater. I got it to supplement comfort in the living room, and it works great. I really love these types of heaters, and I have a black and decker heater as well (all metal sides, no digital readout, 1000 wats, cost almost as much as this one but got it at the hardware store in town last winter). I did have the problem with the soda bottle not sealing into the humidifier, but it was easily fixed by pulling the rubber seal from the second adapter and using both seals on the single adapter. It is roughly the same size as the lawn hose seals you can find at walmart in the garden section for a few bucks. Bottom line, you will not find a humidifier on a heater like this for this price, and all you need to do is fit your soda bottle (I use the 20 oz coke/pepsi bottle) and flip it, if it leaks out the side then take the adapter top off and head out and fit a rubber seal into it, and you should be golden (or do what I did, and pry the seal out of the other adapter). I saw many complaints of the seal leaking, but this heater with humidifier plus the extra cost from a local store if your seal is leaking is well worth the investment. I have not seen any other heaters with the humidifier, and I love this because of it. It is very pleasant on the sinuses, has a really great timer shut off feature, and the digital temperature readout is awesome. I would highly recommend this heater to anyone who is looking to add supplemental heat, or heat a medium sized room (we have no central air in the upstairs part of the house, and it works great up there). I would buy again and recommend to a friend. UPDATE: I bought one more of these last Winter (JAN 2014 was the last purchase) when my parents from AZ came to visit to put in the guest room. Last Winter was pretty cold for TN standards, and we even got about a weeks worth of snow coverage. The heaters worked great all through the winter and really helped supplement our aging heat pump downstairs. We were very comfortable upstairs (we have baseboard heat we don't like to use because we have furniture against the walls) using just these heaters. One heater does not oscillate any more, but we didn't really use that feature anyway. Other than that, both heaters are still pumping heat (we have had some cold TN nights/days down in the 20's already), and the humidifiers on both are still working. Using the second gasket from the adapter that does not fit on U.S. 20oz style soda bottle has made it so that we have never had a leak from this heater. The bottom line in unchanged, I would still highly recommend this heater to anyone looking to supplement or heat a small/medium sized room. Not only did I say I would buy again, but I did buy again, and we are still very happy we did.

Works great as a personal heater.
It's great if you have a drafty room and need a heater on you. I have arthritis and this helps to cut the chill hitting me. We have a large cathedral style living room from the 70s and during this time of year it's chilly but not cold enough to turn the heater on for. The mornings and evenings we need it when we are hanging out. The unit itself is fine but the only thing that is really annoying is the casters. This thing goes whichever way it wants and it has crashed into my antique table, the fireplace hearth, you name it. The wheels are just squirly. As far as functional, it is definitely that. Careful not to overload an outlet with it though. Did that. This house is new for us and did not know one entire wall was on the same circuit and had this plus another furnace plugged in because the heat went out. Any case, works great and is great but yeah the casters need some work.

Works well
Best small heater I’ve purchased. This is the 2nd one. The 1st one I bought in 2013, & it just stopped working. Heats up a whole room easily. Haven’t tried to use the humidifier. Looks nice. I would recommend. Somewhat quiet. Easy to move since it is on rollers. Safe around toddlers

Excellent heater
My husband recieved one as a gift for his cold basement office, then my teen decided she actually needed it in her room, so we ended up buying another one for my husband. It works really well, is simple to use and has nice features like humidifier, oscillator, timed use, adjustable temperature, etc. It warms up a room really quickly and is quiet. Very happy with this heater.

my light bill is a lot less than running the house heater
This is the second one I have bought and I still use both of them (1 at a time) in opposite ends of a 5th wheel and they keep it warm even with 4 slide outs. They are quite, easy to use, very solid and does not tip over. They warm the whole room nicely and they are a lot cheaper than other space heaters. I run them on the ECO setting and my light bill is a lot less than running the house heater.

Humidifier Failure
The heater itself works good, the humidifier is another story! I purchased mine in October of '24 but didn't start using it until late November of '24. It worked well until the end of February '25. When i made the purchase I bought two units, one of the units I purchased is still working but not used even half as much as the one that no longer works (humidifier) plus you had to fill the plastic bottle about every three hours and that got to be a pain in the rear. The oscillator has become somewhat irritating as well as it has become noisy when it is turned on. I called support on the humidifier issue and had to send them the Amazon order to verify the purchase which I totally understand and a photo of the model & serial number again I totally understand as well. The support person I talked with wasn't that helpful and I don't know if she was located in the US or not. She wanted me switch out the humidifier in the other unit with the one that didn't work (trying to narrow down what was happening) I was reluctant to do that simply because if it were a possible electronic issue it could damage it as well! So to end this long review, BUYER BE WARE!
