Great product, worked for me, saved me several hundred dollars if I had to purchase from dealership, found a good locksmith to code it.

Works for 2017 Civic
This key fob works with my 2017 Civic after taking it to locksmith to get programmed. Could not get it to program with 2 push button, 5 presses and 5 lock method. It’s appears exact as oem without the Honda logo. If you have one fob and purchasing this as a secondary back up, you can open the original keyfob to get the FCC ID, it’s printed on the board. Locksmith charged me $85 to cut and program, much cheaper than Honda dealership. Also think Batteries Plus does this for $80

Works as a replacement
Paid 150$ to program it through a locksmith and now I have a spare key. Dealership charges 600$ for a replacement fob.

This key is not good Tech try to program with different scanners it didn’t work!

Be prepared to send one back.
Easy to program. Bought 2 keys and one was faulty doesn’t read . Both keys feel as if they are falling apart.

This fob looks like the factory one, but has some slight differences internally, but it worked fine for what I needed.

Car keyfob
I had lost my keys for my car. I called my dealer to get a new one. It was going to be approximately $700 to get a new one & get it programmed. My car was in garage & would have to get it towed to the dealer. So that included towing. I ordered a new fob on Amazon for $35 . After 2 weeks I found my keys at home & took my car my old fob & new fob to ACE hardware & got it programmed for $45. What a savings. Thank you AMAZON

Good Extra Key Fob
Working as expected. Our other key fob just stopped working so I bought this and other one. This one doesn’t have the Honda logo in the back of the key but still works. You’ll need to program this key fob to work.
