These reels are extremely durable and work fantastic. Still using my first set i bought a year ago. I use them 50 to a hundred tes a day. At least 6 days a week.

Very durable and well made! Had about a year now and no problems or complaints. Would buy again but probably won’t need to because they should last a while.

Strong, works well—retracts easily

Crazy sturdy! I used to break a retractable badge holder every other month. One of these has lasted me half the year with no signs of degradation. They are a bit heavy and larger than the cheap ones, but it is worth it for the durability. Also, do not expect the retractor to be pulled as easily as a cheap one. You have to get used to tugging a little harder to pull the badge away but again, worth it! They are so strong and easy to use over and over.

Definitely heavy duty, the retraction strength is really strong. I have a habit of spinning my work badge around by the string when I'm bored, and ended up breaking the string on a normal retractable badge holder. I don't see how that will be possible with thing, it's quite sturdy. The carabiner clip is of solid quality, the braided steel cable is strong but flexible, and the badge holder loop seems pretty durable. I removed the key ring because I don't need it. It dangles a little lower than a typical retractable badge holder, but I wear my badge on my waist (carabiner through the belt loop) and with this the bottom of the badge is right around where the bottom of a phone would be in your pocket. Due to its solid construction, it's slightly heavier than other badge holders, but not distractingly so (at least for wearing attached to the waist). Note: I wear my badge in a plastic sleeve, which results in it dangling slightly lower (a few cm) than if I looped it through the badge itself. The only downside is that it's just bulky enough that it would be awkward to wear on a lanyard, and the bottom of the badge falls below the belt for me when connected to a standard lanyard.

Just as advertised. Does what it's supposed to. Good quality with no sharp edges and not too big.

As a professional firefighter I want to know my equipment will stand up to the tough abuse that it will go through on the job. I decided to see how strong this retractable retractable keychain from Oaridey would be. I must say I am surprised at how strong it is. I started with a 20 lb dumbbell, the cable extended smoothly and easily as I lifted it off the ground and set it back down as it retracted. I increased the weight of the dumbbells 5 lbs at a time all the way up to 45 lbs with the same result. When I lifted the 50 lb dumbbell the cable snapped out of the spring loaded housing and the retractable keychain went into the trash. Will I ever try to hang anything even near 50 lbs on it? Not even close, but now I know what it’s limits are. It looks nice has a great fit and finish and retracts strongly and smoothly. I would definitely buy it again and will be using it as a badge holder. If your looking for a well built retractable keychain or badge holder then get one, you’ll be happy you did.

I just switched back to bartender after my "career" of many moons disappeared into the current economic abyss, and the provided bar key/churchkey was too flat for me to use easily or quickly - so I bought and now bring my own...but man that thing has WEIGHT. My cutesy badge reel could not bear the weight, so I found this one and I'm SO glad I did. I can carry my wine multitool, new bar key, badge, pen, keys and probably a 6 pack 😁. It clips onto my belt loops or belt easily, it pulls out/stretches and springs back easily, the length extends easily to any terminal, it is super easy to use, and looks professional. No more digging in the containers by the register or trying to pick up a flat tool on a flat surface, which saves me time and makes me look efficient to my patrons. Time to go get ready and make dat 👜

Used to attach a hand cuff key to my patrol belt. Very well built and have seen a few scuffles and come out unscathed so very happy.

Very usefull. I do not look for key for an hour anymore.
