I wouldn't trust these things on one under torsional load like many metal devices do, but under shear loads and especially in plastic devices this is all you need. The fact that you get 2 is especially nice, although my GF lost half the keys. It even comes with some sandpaper, although I would advise against overusing it since I don't think the tolerances are amazing in the first place. I would also like to know where I can find a datasheet or something for the dimensions of these, since I design my own devices around them.

Only received one lock for it along with the key is not to mention the key is different than what is described on the page it’s a lot bigger

Original lock fell apart. Perhaps the stress of constant strain and pull of cage against frame; I am much more intent on better quality components than new---perhaps too much to ask from original manufacturers---this attention to detail makes the difference of satisfaction over time to me however.

Got these locks to replace the cheap ones I got with other cages. They work perfectly and are of good quality. For anyone looking for a replacement lock, I highly recommend them.

This is a fine lock like any other, but after a couple of times getting wet, the key was no longer able to turn it. I wish someone made a waterproof version of this lock.
