I had read the comments before buying these boots and they indicated they run to size so I ordered 11.5W. From my walk I can say they are a near perfect fit. Double wide would have been too wide.At first, when the box arrived, I thought it must be empty. Of course it wasn't. These are very light boots. Surprisingly light considering they are above the ankle boots.The material for the body of the shoe appears to be a heavy canvass material. Flexible and light. This might be a small point but the laces are, I think, the right length. Not so long they drag on the ground but not so short you struggle to tie them. And they are grippy enough to use a single knot. I did and they never loosened during my walk.The boots are surprisingly trim in appearance. I was expecting a larger looking boot. But these are as trim as a pair of sneakers. When I first inpacked them I felt I'd be packing them back up because they were too narrow.As with any hiking boot I'd expect some break in time to be needed. However with these I expect that time to be short. In my brief walk I never experienced any pinching or difficult in the flex of the boot.These boots are NOT made in China but rather in Korea.For all these reasons I had no doubt in giving these boots a 5 star rating. I recommend them for anyone looking for an economical hiking boot. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing fit, please don't change these! *by K***Y on May 27, 2020* I hardly write reviews, but these shoes are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I have no arch in my feet so i find it very difficult to find comfortable shoes. I'm a 10.5 wide and I'm the type of guy that usually needs to try on the shoe before i buy because I'm very particular on how the shoe fits and feels. I've been a server and now currently do home remodeling/construction for work. I easily get over 20,000 steps a day, so you can see why I need shoes that are comfortable all day and work well. Other shoes that i have worn have killed my feet by the end of the day, but not these! I can go all day and night with these. My arch or lack there of in my feet don't hurt! It's amazing! These Newton Ridge lightweights are the best. Please don't ever change the fit and feel of these!! I've bought other Columbia shoes such as the Buxton Peak MID and they have too high of an arch for me and hurt. But these are amazing, can't compliment them enough!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice shoe *by M***E on July 8, 2020* Nice show but I'd order a half size larger..
