Got the job done
The scanner worked fine on my 2009 Impreza, pulling up the error codes that were causing the check engine light. The only issue I had was navigating the user interface on the iPhone app, which didn't seem intuitive, but got me the information I needed. I didn't look for any help text or check their website for user manuals or anything, so that's at least partly on me. Seems like a good tool at a reasonable price.

Ease of use. Plug and play. Just download the phone app.
Used it today on my used, but new to me, truck. It worked as intended. Full download and diagnostic of error codes. Was able to send to my email so I can refer to and show the mechanic.

The scanner works as expected with a Pixel phone
The scanner works as expected and is easy to attach and connect to Bluetooth on my Android phone. I was able to diagnose the check engine light on a 2006 Toyota Highlander Hybrid. The app seems a bit outdated but works OK.

Veepeak OBDCheck: Decoding Car Troubles with a Hint of Quirk
Ah, the Veepeak OBDCheck, a gadget that promises to demystify your car's cryptic messages and turn you into the Sherlock Holmes of the automotive world. But does it live up to the hype? Let's peel back the hood and take a closer look.First off, let's talk setup. While it's not exactly brain surgery, getting this bad boy up and running might require a bit more patience than teaching your grandma how to use Snapchat. The instructions are about as straightforward as a Rubik's Cube, and I found myself wishing for a magic wand to speed up the process.Once you've conquered the setup mountain, you're greeted with a user interface that's... well, let's just say it's not winning any beauty contests. It's functional, sure, but about as charming as a rusty old bumper. Navigating through the menus feels like trying to find a needle in a haystack, especially if you're used to slicker interfaces. But fear not, intrepid driver! Once you've wrangled the beast into submission, the Veepeak OBDCheck does deliver on its promise. Need to diagnose engine issues? It's got your back. Want to monitor your car's vitals in real-time? Consider it done, albeit with a few more button presses than you'd like. Now, onto compatibility. While the Veepeak OBDCheck claims to work with a wide range of vehicles, I found that it can be a bit finicky with older models. It's like trying to teach your grandpa how to use TikTok - there's a learning curve, and sometimes it just refuses to cooperate. But hey, it's not all doom and gloom! Once you've tamed the technology beast, the Veepeak OBDCheck is actually a pretty handy tool to have in your arsenal. It might not be the prettiest or the easiest to use, but it gets the job done - like a reliable old pickup truck that's seen better days but still chugs along like a champ. So, in conclusion, if you're willing to overlook a few quirks and quirks, the Veepeak OBDCheck is a solid investment for anyone who's tired of playing guessing games with their car. Just be prepared to roll up your sleeves and dive into the nitty-gritty. After all, nothing worth having comes easy, right?

Great little module.
Works flawlessly with 2011 BMW 328i, in conjunction with Bimmerlink/Bimmercode. Will find out if it works with others and report back if it does. Connected and coded to the car pretty quickly and effeciently, which seems strange via Bluetooth, but it's perfect. Excellent for the cost VS other Bluetooth modules, and it can be used with other apps that aren't BMW specific, too. Oh, and it comes in a little storage box to keep it in!

Great, but limited
Great product, but limited. It works perfect for the new Ford EV vehicles. But will not work for the Chevy EV’s.
