I decorated a wedding cake with these decorations, and it turned out great! The bride and groom loved it.

All the flowers and decorations are smushed into a small plastic package which left creases in some of the petals and leaves. Not all, just about a dozen or so. I briefly soaked them in warm to hot water and unbent them. That worked out very well to smooth out the creases. The decorations looked lovely on the cake. We were a little too exuberant with the candles. The decorations don't even have to touch a flame, just be near a flame to light up and gloriously burn. And since all the decorations are usually bunched together, as soon as one flower lit up, the other flowers rapidly joined into the mini bonfire atop the cake. Rapidly plucking out burning flowers and butterflies while still singing the Happy Birthday song at the same time is a skill. The guests were highly entertained. The birthday recipient was stunned. It was memorable. The flowers and decorations are beautiful. I would purchase them again. Just keep the candles to a minimum and on the opposite side of the flowers. Not next to the flowers, or an inch in front of the flowers. Keep the candles on the opposite side of the cake from the flowers.
