Reasonable price and speedy delivery.Just the plastic and the seal at the top looks a bit weird where it is not likely to be Everpure standard.Installed and nothing goes wrong.

Great tasting water!
I have been using Everpure for over 25 years. I have always used it on city treated water to remove impurities. I don't think they are as good as they were 20 yrs. ago but I still think they are one of the best filters. Considering the millions of tons of Glyphosate that are being dumped on our corn, wheat and other grains, I believe it is essential to have a water filter to protect our families.

easy to install
The directions made it sound so easy and it was. Be sure to put a towel under the old filter before pulling it off. Even though we release the pressure on the faucet, there was still some water when you pull it off. All filters are so dang expensive.

Horrible
Bought this on the recommendation of my plumber for an undersink filter. He came out to install it and overnight, it leaked. I had him come back out to check on it. He said the fittings were fine and the cartridge in the filter was probably defective. I called Pentair to see if they could send out a new filter and they said it was an Amazon issue.I ordered a new filter through Amazon ($99) but thankfully when i called Amazon customer service, they agreed to refund me the cost of the new filter because of the defective unit. Plumber is coming back and hopefully this solves the issue.For what this unit cost, it should perform right out of the box. Look for another one, since Pentair customer service sucks

Everpure Water Cartridge
The Everpure filter is a good product. It was more expensive than I thought but given that you only need to change the cartridge once per year, I'm ok with the cost.
