Works great, is fast, holds LOTS!
This is the second one I have purchased this year. Got the first one in Q1 and used to for backing up my home laptop and my office laptop. Was getting tight on space to hold the number of full backups I want (of each) so ordered a second. Been using the new one for a couple of months now and have one for the office laptop and the other for home. At 4 TB, the SSDs are fast and have not had any data loss with either one. Very small, light weight and when plugged into a high-speed port, very fast. Just wish they were available in 8TB size...

Super fast
Works as expected. It's blazingly fast. I use it to transfer 50GB files regularly. It used to take me 30 minutes with my old ext HD and now take just a couple.

Disappointing specs
I bought this PSSD after reviewing many brands with only reason as USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 with high transfer speeds. I am not able to test the speeds in my laptop which is using an older version of USB ports. But After seeing the drive config details I was disappointed. internally it's using Samsung SSD PM871 mSATA and PNY SCSI drive interface. I doubt the performance will not be as they mentioned in specs since mSATA and SCSI drive transfer rate max around 650Mbps.

Over the last 10 years, I have bought many portable SSDs, and this is one of my top two favorites
My other favorite is a performance monster, at many times the price of this one, and needing special cables.This one is perfect for Mac Time Machine backup. It is discreet and solid-looking, and fast enough for all but the most demanding 4K RAW video feeds. Highly recommended!

Does what it's supposed to do.
There's not much more to say. I connected it to the USB3 port on a Raspberry Pi 4B, changed the format to Linux EXT4 with GParted and filled it with video. Playback is fine, including 1080P video.I do recommend using a better format than FAT32. On a 2 TB drive, the smallest files take up 1/2 megabyte of disk space and there is an average of 250 KB of wasted space at the end of every file.[Update] I have found the drive gets a little hot when writing. I'd recommend writing not more than 60-80 GB of data at a time, then letting it cool down for a few minutes. Put your hand on the case and decide how hot you want to let it get.
