I installed it exactly as instructed. The screen fit almost perfectly and was easy to install but lasted for about a week before it popped off. I will say that once installed you can barely see it - I mean literally! After installing it, I actually doubted it was on because it was so thin. It feels like a thin piece of glass and fits almost perfectly on the screen. That being said, I wouldn't purchase it again because the adhesive doesn't last!
