This clock is cute, but it stopped running shortly after I started using it. I put a new battery in it, so I know that is not the problem. I kept resetting it, thinking it would work. It did for a few days or a week and then it would just stop. Of course, it is now too late for me to return it.UPDATE - I was contacted by the seller. He wrote "we need to note you that this clock can not use high capacity battery /high energy battery,it Will cause the movement short-circuit fault.So you can try cheap battery." They sent me a new clock. I bought a "cheap" battery at the dollar store and so far, it is working fine. It would be nice if the manufacturer put a sticker on the back saying what kind of battery to use. There are no instructions at all included with the clock.

I never know how annoying the ticking noise of a clock was until I was not in its presence. The peace and quiet is quite enjoyable. We're so use to pulling out our phones or looking at the microwave that getting a separate clock really wasn't necessary. Low and behold - a clock that doesn't make any noise. Complete silence. Could it really work? I decided to try and find out. It is completely silent. I love it. The movement is smooth. The clock itself looks quite nice with a bold orange color. The high contrast large numbers and clock arms make the time easy to read. The only reason I got it was for my mum. She's old and traditional. I just didn't want to get something annoying to myself if I got something for her. No regrets buying this.

I like this clock Being vision impaired, this clock is wonderful. It has large numerals and white on black for great contrast. I thought it would be a bit larger than it is, but it is a good size. I no longer have to squint to see what time it is. I looked for a similar one on a site that catered to those who were vision impaired ---they wanted $60 for their version. No thank you. This one works fine and is much, much cheaper! Shipping was fast.

Order arrived in less than two days. Go Amazon! Clock is beautiful and works great, at least initially. Time (no pun intended) will be the true test to see if clock keeps time w/o lagging behind as most inexpensive clocks eventually do. The orange color is bright and just what I wanted for a pop of color in my kitchen!! The second hand has smooth movement. Amazon, please ask me to review this clock in 6-12 months. I bought this to teach my kids how to read time, in addition to using it as a clock. However, at twelve o'clock,, the hour hand and the minute hand don't align right, which makes it frustrating to actually teach. The clock is silent, which is good for sensitive sleepers. Works on one AA battery, not included. Decent for the low price, but far from ideal.

I purchased two of these (Blue and Black). Beautiful wall clocks, however, they are not silent. What one hears is the churning of the clock motor. It is not loud but could be annoying to those who sleep near the clock or those who have sensitive hearing and want a noise-free sleep environment.

I got this clock because the ticking of our old clock in the master bathroom (next to our bedroom) was driving my husband crazy at night. This one is super quiet. However, if you're right next to it you can hear a slight buzz. But it sure beats the ticking!

Ive had the clock for about three months now and it stopped completely about a month ago. So I changed the batteries (even tho they were fairly new) and now this week it has started running slow. It’s currently running about 10 minutes slow so I imagine it’s going to stop completely again soon. I Gave it two stars because it looks cool, but it’s not very reliable.Update: Yup, just as I suspected, it stopped completely a few days after writing this review. Into the trash it goes. Good thing it was inexpensive.
