Bought this for my 12 y.o. soon. Love Rawlings gloves in general, but this glove is great for his age. High quality without being so stiff that it takes a long time to break in. Highly recommended and great value for the price.

The 11.5" size and web style provide great versatility, making it suitable for both pitching and infield positions.We had the glove professionally broken in at Dick’s for $25, and then followed up with some additional hand work at home. After that, it molded beautifully to his hand, and he’s been using it with confidence ever since.For parents looking for a well-built glove that will support both skill development and game performance, this is a fantastic choice. It delivers excellent value and real durability—highly recommended.

I upgraded my son’s old beat up glove and this thing has been awesome. Took a little to break in but it fits him very well and has served its purpose. Seems to be durable and once we got it broken in he’s had no issues closing the glove.

First, let me say, this is a beautiful glove. It looks so good, great shape, very nice pocket. However, the leather is a little thin and stiff. Means that it'll hold its shape but the ball is going to sting if you catch it in the palm area. Also, since it's stiff, it'll take a long time to break it in properly. The glove is sold as a "youth" glove but it's full size and built same as the adult models but with a lower grade leather. I bought it for myself, for half the price of the Rawlings Heart of Hide models. I bought the 12 inch model. My hand fits in the glove just fine, the wrist strap is adjustable (just loosen the lace). There is a piece of metal or plastic in the thumb area and it does rub a little against the top of my thumbnail. But, after about a month or so of daily use, the glove is starting to feel pretty good. Not ready for game playing yet, I'd say another month of use should do it. If you're an elite player (like I once was) and you're playing varsity high school, college or higher, I'd recommend you go with the more expensive higher quality gloves from Rawlings and other brands.

This is a great glove and it's great for youth looking to get a competitive level baseball glove. The feel of the leather is high quality and durable, yet soft enough to get a good break-in allowing it to close easily for 7yr+ kids. Closing the glove is paramount for youth players.

This is an excellent glove for the youth player! Great quality! I bought this glove as an upgrade for my 7 year son. He mainly plays middle infield. He has been playing some outfield in all stars. Works perfectly at the young age. This glove will last a long time with good care. I definitely recommend this glove. Rawlings for life!!!

Perfect glove for your little league player moving to the next level/travel club ball. The glove’s leather is stiff and does require break in, oil and work to get to a broken in point where my 8 year old can effectively use it. The break in work is worth it. My son loves the glove. Fits his smaller hand great with room to grow. I can see this being a great glove for the next 2-3 years. Then on to an A2K or Nokona.
