Great clay sponges
Great sponges for throwing on the wheel. I’m a perfectionist and the basic yellow sponge is nice for over all shape but these help me to really smooth the texture at the end of throwing and on trimming day to smooth out imperfections. The blue and orange are my favorite.

Favorite sponges
Great little sponges. They are very stiff and sturdy when dry and soften to butter in water. I love the white and orange sponges for smoothing edges, they are so delicate. I bought some Xiem sponges at my local pottery store while waiting for this pack to arrive but haven’t even opened them, I’m so happy with this pack.

More pros than cons
I like pulling with these because I can feel the clay better. Can get more easily into tight spaces. Also very smooth. Cons - doesn’t hold as much water or absorb as well as a regular yellow sponge.

Nice and thin
TL:DR - Thinner alternative to Mudsponge. Nice density. After my first white Mudsponge ran its course, I purchased two new ones direct from company. Idk what they did or if it was the batch I got, but they were WAY thicker than my first one (which I loved). So much so, that I tried to cut it in half lengthwise to continue using. The density of the new sponges was also WAY more dense that before. I prefer a thinner finishing sponge.Figured I'd try these out and really enjoyed them. White texture is VERY smooth. Orange and blue are smoother than Mudtools' versions, which I also prefer for using on finishing smoothing out textured Greenware. All in all, if you like working with thinner sponges, these may be just right for you.

I use these sponges all the time when throwing and they are very helpful in my work.
Best ceramic sponges I've ever used, personally and in the classroom. I love the denseness of the foam in these sponges, and really feel I wasted money trying to find cheaper alternatives just to save a few cents. I use these sponges all the time when throwing and they are very helpful in my work. It also allows for more control, no matter what type of pressure I use. These sponges are great and should last a long time because of the amazing quality.
