20 Black International Standard Ink Cartridges by Scriveiner

The cost is a bit more than I was paying for the other brand of cartridges I was using but the quality of the ink is so much better. The other brand, which is a well known brand, faded in color intensity as I wrote a sentence/paragraph with it. So far the Scriveiner ink has been consistent in intensity of color without a fade away towards the end of the sentence/paragraph. The flow of the ink from the pen is smooth and consistent without skips or blotches. I am using an extra fine nib. I am very satisfied with my purchase of these ink cartridges. Well worth the extra money.

This pen in aubergine is very pretty and fine point writes smoothly!I have a medium point pen as well.Once I figured out that leaving the laying flat instead of point down the nip kept ink flowing. Simple to clean also.The only issue is that the cartridges could be long so that it would have more ink that’s not a big issue. I haven’t used the refillable cartridge yet.

I’m fairly new to fountain pens, and I purchased this ink to use with my Scriveiner Green Fountain Pen. The ink works perfectly with the pen and flows smoothly without any issues. The quality is very good, and it appears to last a long time. With the amount provided, it will be quite a while before I need to place another order.

Cartridges appear "small", the force required to properly puncture and seat the cartridge is moderate. Ink is fast drying, will no smuge once dry. Great product!

I gave this to someone who loves fountain pens. He said it took a while to break in as fountain pens usually do. It’s a beautiful pen. The green is a true hunter green. I think he’s had pens that cost a great deal more than this one. If you are gifting a longtime fountain pen user, spend a lot more. For the average pen user, this is a lovely gift and presents well in box etc. I tried it before person I gave it to started to “break it in”. For me, it would be both comfortable and smooth. It definitely has an air of quality about it. It’s a great value for the money and the size is universal (unless someone has unusual size hands). If you are thinking about it, go for it!

Perfect and as expected

You should always double-check the size of the cartridge your pen requires....I've had trouble with misleading (to me) "international size" cartridges from other brands. That said, these have fit perfectly and functioned flawlessly through several orders for refills for our Scriveiner pens.

Flows well and doesn't dry overly quickly if left in the pen unused for a few days. Nice deep black on the page. Fits in my Scriveiner Fountain Pen, a generic one and one I recently bought from Tom's Studio. Seems to be Standard International Short as advertised.
