I was happy to get the correct power adapter, so often they send you an unoriginal power adapter, which isn’t ideal with a mini-PC. Got this mini PC to run as a mini server since the idle power consumption is only about 6W. Was able to get two large NVMe drives installed and some extra RAM so I can run a couple of VM’s and host a file/print/media server. I haven’t tried getting the 2.5GBe module (not sure if it works on the G5).Only complaint I had about the refurbished condition is they didn’t clean the inside out, really dusty inside, though the outside was clean and in good shape. It was well packaged.

The media could not be loaded. Purchased 2 renewed Elite desk PCs. Sometimes you get good ones from quality refurbishers and sometimes you don't. This refurbishers should be removed from Amazon completely. First PC had a bad fan bearing which should have been easily caught if they did even the slightest quality assurance. So can't use that. Second one was overheating, like running 85C or more at idle and over 90c when going anything. Again, should have been easily caught by QA. Both were very poorly packaged with little to no care or thought given to the safety of the device and both came with a USED keyboard and mouse. Also the first one did come with a Samsung NVMe, but the second came with a cheap "Kingpin" NVMe, so very cheap drive.That is the down side to Amazon's renewed program is that you can't select which refurbishers send out the product.I hope Amazon bans the refurbished that sent these out. I wouldn't give these ones away.Recommend always checking any renewed products as soon as they come in.

This is the 2nd HP Elitebook for my office. Providing that you pick the right specs for what you want, I am very pleased with this machine. It's fast, powerful and at a reasonable price. I'm happy with this refurbisher as well, however I did have to send a machine back last week to another refurbisher but not these guys.I am glad that Amazon helps with the risk of taking on a refurbished machine by allowing returns if there is something wrong.

Fails to boot, less than 6 months after purchase.

arrived with new wired keyboard and mouse (really cheap ones, but if you don't have them laying around, very handy). Worked well out of the box, no major cosmetic issues.I did find out later, when upgrading the RAM, that they took out the 2.5 SSD caddy and cables from the PC - not mentioned anywhere on the description, so you have to get them from ebay for 15.00 or so, if you want to add an SSD.Other than that, perfectly acceptable.

It works well, I would have liked the SSD cradle in it. But two m2 drive are good to,the first thing I did was move it up to Window 11. This machine is a legal win 11 machine. So far it's been excellent. I would buy from this vendor again.

I know its a Refurbished item but, the WiFi card was completely missing. Also, one of the DisplayPorts had a broken plastic piece where the cable goes; stopping the plug from going in completely (I managed to get it out but, it was obviously broken). Also, the shell felt kinda hot for only 40min tops worth of use... Not sure if the fans had kicked in. But after not finding the WiFi card, I called it quits.

It looks brand new. The speed is wonderful. It shaved me a lot of money over a new one.
