Exceeded expectations.
As someone who has bought a lot of various types of desk arms, this one stands out. It's really solid, especially for the price point. The red knob allows you to spin the connection screw, so you don't have to rotate your camera / teleprompter, etc around, which is always a giant PITA. It's locking mechanism is mechanical notches, so once it's locked, it won't slip at all, in comparison to other arms, that are just squeezing a ball, relying on friction, and will slip.Well thought out design and great for the price point.

Durable and Professional Looking Camera Mount Adjustable Arm Stand
This adjustable arm mount works nearly perfectly for my DSLR camera. You have some flexibility because you can choose how many sections of it to install. Also, the rotating ball head makes it adjustable even more so you can fine-tune the placement of the camera and the angle, etc. I use my DSLR as a webcam so I needed to position it precisely above my monitor, and it's working well for that! The only thing I've noticed is that the camera sagged a little when I came back to it after a few days, so I had to make a small adjustment. This isn't a huge issue but you may need to tighten the knobs harder (not too hard) to get it to stay for longer. Overall, this product looks good/professional and functions as expected, so I give it a 5 star rating!

Struggles a bit with heavier cameras, but usable
Likes:-easy installation-joints are very solid once locked in-can be built in sections-includes phone and ball mount-rotatable base-very lightweightDislikes-very wobbly under weight-included ball mount is cheap/weak-joints do not allow full articulation (somewhat mitigated by rotation and ball mount)Overall, for the price, it's a great mount. Most of the issues aren't going to be a problem for the majority of users. For a phone, or light camera, this mount is unbeatable.I tested the mount using a frontheavy Canon 90D dslr camera with a Sigma 18-35mm lens. As pictured, the whole setup weighs about 3.5lbs. While it does an admiral job of holding up my camera, it does appear quite wobbly, with slight desk movement. I have a very hard time believing it would be stable at 6 lbs as stated in the advertisement. The ball mount exacerbates the issue, barely able to hold my camera up at maximum torque, even at a relatively shallow angle. I seriously doubt the ball mount would work at a 90° angle for perpendicular shots. Luckily, you do NOT need to use the ball end to mount a camera to this stand. All 3 sections attach using a standard 1/4-20 UNC tripod connection, meaning you can disassemble and attach your camera to each section as you wish. With that said, it does appear to hold, even with the disappointing ball mount. The joints appear to have large, grippy internal teeth to ensure the mount does not lose integrity over time, although the initial sag from adding weight to the end is very apparent and must be compensated for during adjustments, which is a minor hassle, and cheapens the overall feel of the device. While there are some engineering problems that could be addressed, I am not unhappy with my purchase. If you already have a ball mount, or ideally an old, light tripod head, I recommend using it with this stand. If your device is 4lbs or less, I don't fosee any issues, however, above 5lbs I would be prepared for disappointment.

Great build quality!
It's surprisingly durable! I would recommend for any light DSLR or smaller camera, phone etc. Wouldn't recommend for heavier cameras. The build quality is great. The desk mount is very heavy duty. The housing of each arm is metal and the adjustment points are plastic. The locking of the adjustments is surprisingly strong! I did test with a heavier camera (large DSLR with Larger lense) it held but didn't feel sturdy. I could feel it putting wear on it. Overall great for use 5lbs or under.

Works as advertised - pleased with purchase
We purchased this to hold a small digital projector over a table, so that it could project down onto the surface for everyone to see during a meeting. For our needs, this is a great value, and I am glad we found it - it solved our problem nicely, and we do not meet without it now!

I'm excited to use this!
I am very impressed with the quality and material used. I love that the arms disassemble for easier storage. The clamp is large enough to accommodate my desk, table, and counter. The rotating mechanism for the arms has small discrete teeth when makes is so the arms stay lock at the chosen angle and the teeth are small enough that they make small angle adjustments. The attachment options it comes with are very useful for attaching either a smart phone or different camera options.

Be sure to understand the available joint movements before buying.
I bought this camera stand for my mini cam, mainly as I use it as a web cam. It is easy to set up and and has easy tightening controls. I didn't catch from the videos at Amazon that each joint was not a ball type for nearly unlimited angles. It does meet my needs, though, and saves desk space. I think it would make a nicer kit if there was an extra clamp with the mount coming out at 90 degrees. That way it could be clamped to a shelf above the desk and come down. I don't have a perfect feel for the geometry, but I think it could work. It's a good product and will be easily portable if I need it on location.
