I purchased these LED bulbs to swap out all the instrument cluster and dashboard bulbs in my 97 Jeep Wrangler TJ. I got the white color and they are VERY bright. They look wayyyy better than the dim factory incandescent bulbs they replaced. I am very happy with the result and they were well worth the money.

Several issues with using LED replacement bulbs: 1) They only work in one direction and there is no easy way to know if it is right unless one can install them with the board under power. If it's wrong all one needs to do it reinstall with the holder reversed. In my case this was easy but for a replacement in an instrument cluster, for example, it would be very inconvenient. 2) They are not designed to dim. Any voltage other than off gives full brightness. So they take away some of the original warmth that the car had new. These were in my heating/cooling controls which, for some reason, were the only miniature panel bulbs to burn out, all 4 out of 4, so there is something causing this and it's worth using the LED bulbs in this case in my 21 year old Windstar. 3) They are a bit hard to insert as they are a tad wider than the bulbs they replace.All this in mind, they are useful- sometimes.
