Like all Jiva products this is excellent quality and arrived well packed (not leaking 😊) people should note though that this is massage oil, not “food”, but the food products sold by Jiva are excellent quality too

This mustard oil has been great for cooking and also for oil massaging.It’s very potent which I like. A little goes long way. Cost efficient but I really wish it came in a glass bottle and not plastic. For eco conscious people it’s hard to see oils in plastic bottles.I changed the oil into a glass container immediately after I received it. So far it didn’t effect the quality.

I use this mustard oil for my Diya Lamp. High quality and burns great. The oil has a unique smell (like wasabi) and it smelled fresh when I opened it. Had to contact Amazon about one concern with the bottle I received, but it had nothing to do with the quality of this product. I like how the company provides a meal to hungry children for every product they sell. I would definitely buy this brand again. One last thing I would like to mention is that it does state on the back of the bottle "for external use only". This is fine with me since I use it only for my Diya.

Although in the US it is recommended not to consume mustard oil, in South Asia, mustard oil is the olive oil in the kitchen. I consumed this once and the stomach was set on fire. They do have an external use only label, but this is not how pure mustard reacts with stomach.The smell is too strong. I have harvested & milled pure mustard oil as a farmer myself. This oil's smell is just too strong & I feel like they're trying to infuse the idea that the oil is pure with a stronger aroma.The color is too strong as well. I use it as hair oil and if it gets in touch with the bedsheet, the yellowish mark that it leaves behind can only be removed with a bleach. Good mustard oil isn't that difficult to remove.

Wonderful Oil

Been watching Chasing Life series with Sanjay Gupta on CNN he was talking about his mom using this oil for all aches and pains over the years. Good for your Hair and scalp i bought it for my bad knee's so i coat from bottom of my feet to to top of my thigh and i do get relief from the pain, this is food grade would like to cook a Chicken breast in it to see how that might be. It does smell like yellow mustard but the smell does not last long on the skin after a few minutes really love this product !

The product arrived quickly, however oil leaked all over the box. Although I felt the price was decent,I lost roughly 10 - 15% of my purchase in transit. I purchased this oil because I read that one of the reviewersstated that a relative used it by messaging their legs and knees with the oil. Since I have troublesome knees I started to do the same before retiring for the evening. It's been less than a week but I can already see and feel an improvement. I can't attest to taste, that's not what I purchased the oil for. I would like to add that I am combining this oil with black seed oil for this nightly message. Perhaps in the next review, I will discuss taste.
