LA PURE Korean Snail Mucin Mask – Cruelty-Free – 10 Hydrating Sheet Masks

This mask has quickly become one of my favorites. Not only does it provide incredible hydration, leaving my skin feeling excellent, but it also comes with outstanding customer service. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking deep hydration and brightness. While I’ve only used it a few times so far, I suspect that its anti-aging benefits, such as reducing fine lines, will become more apparent over time. But I do feel like my face looks brighter already! I am in love with this face mask! I'm in my early 50's and the area and the lower face is where I'm starting to deal with loss of plumpness, marionette lines, dry skin, and thin wrinkles. I've used this mask (with the routine outlined below) just twice so far and I feel really encouraged by what I see. My skin feels more moisturized and it's plumper which has reduced the fine wrinkles, especially on my lips and around my mouth. The marionette lines I have aren't major to begin with but it's quite noticeable, especially when the light hits it just right. This mask hasn't gotten rid of them but they look smaller which has made the corner of my lips look less downturned. I'm really surprised by how quickly this mask works! The amount of snail filtrate is generous and I've gotten 2 uses out of one package so far and I still have enough for one more use. So technically you could get 30 uses out of this purchase of 10 masks. Here's the routine I used: Wash my face twice, then spray on witch hazel as a toner. Use ATS Air Shot on my face for 5 minutes then use this mask for 15 minutes. I only use the Air Shot a few times a week so I've only used it with the mask once so far. While the mask is on I massage my face, lips, and neck lightly for about 5 minutes, then add a bit more snail filtrate from the package to the mask if needed. There is so much in the package that I squeeze a bit off the mask before I use it. Next, I put on my night cream & 'seal' it all in with Nivea Creme (the german version). This combination leaves my face feeling a little sticky BUT it didn't matter to me if I'm going to bed. I'm not sure if it absorbs into my skin or pillow overnight but by morning it's not sticky at all, and my skin looks nice and dewy! I'm going to continue using this each night using the same routine and can't wait to see how much more improvement can be achieved! Also, I think it's important to include other anti-aging routines for things to work on the skin. If you're just using skin cream and not taking care of yourself then your skin isn't going to have the best chance for improvement.

That said, here are some of the things I already love about the LA PURE Korean Face Mask - Hydrating Beauty Snail Mask: It is incredibly hydrating. I get terribly dry skin; so, this is a huge plus for me. My face in the morning certainly seemed brighter, but I suspect the anti-aging properties will show themselves more over time. It is made with natural ingredients. The mask contains snail mucin, which is known for its hydrating and anti-aging properties. It also contains other natural ingredients like hyaluronic acid and green tea extract. But, the real star is the snail mucin which they assure is sourced ethically! Which is good because I actually have a friend who raises snails. In short, it's a great mask, the ingredients are natural, it's affordable, and the company clearly seems to care about its customer base.

Hydrating and works well. I prefer the “glass” hydrogel mucin masks that are thicker and you can sleep in (COSRX) but this works for quick hydration and skin brightness. Not sticky. Adding snail mucin to my skincare routine has improved my skin texture.

I am going to start by saying that I am new to using masks. I bought a couple of different brands. I was thoroughly pleased with this one and so was my friend. We decided to “mask” together because neither of us had ever used one before. We were both mask virgins. My friend is African American and I am Caucasian. She was extremely unsure going into this as she said her skin is sensitive to product and my skin has reacted poorly to skincare regimes like Lancôme and Clinique. But we reluctantly pushed through our fears even though this mask has snail gel in it LOL. Our first thought was that it felt really cool without refrigeration. It felt relaxing. My friend got excited. Then she dozed off like she was in a spa with a mask on her face haha. I found it felt good too. Plenty of product on it. Most importantly it did not irritate my skin at all. After removing our masks, my friend felt that her skin had a healthy glow and was hydrated. I felt my skin was hydrated as well. I have not used it long enough to notice long term effects. I want to end this review by assuring others that this is a REAL review. You can check my profile. I now feel the need to state this because there are so many fake ones. There are products I have been very hard on. I did try another less expensive mask and was happy with it. I do think I was happier with this but the price point is higher and my friend did not try it yet.

I thought there were masks. I only received a box with packets of goop. I did put the goop on my face and my face felt nicer but low stars from missing the actual masks. Updated review, the seller contacted me and offered a full refund. I'm declining because I'm still using it, just without the actual mask and it does make my face feel nice.
