Get a 1 or 2 waist sizes up
Needs a couple cold water washes and a day or two of wearing to soften and break them in. Not too skinny which is nice. Definitely need to get one or two sizes up since they run tight in crouch area.

Compliments to the max
These are so amazing, they fit snug to your leg and show off the leg muscle well with me. Granted, they ride up sometimes and hurt me in the middle but that’s probably from weight gain or so. Otherwise it’s amazing to work in these. They don’t rip or get overwashed

The good: The fit is great
I debated giving these pants 3 stars instead of 4, but because of the price, I decided to go with 4.The good: The fit is great. These are a true slim fit without being nut huggers. (Caveat: You might need to go up a waist size.) They look great in the seat and through the legs. If you are a slender guy, then I highly recommend them. If you have a slender, but muscular frame, they might be too tight. These are better for the ectomorph body type. I would describe these as between Levi's 511 and Levi's 514, being a little closer to the 511s. One tip regarding the fit: You might need to let the pants air dry. These fit me perfectly, so long as I let them air dry.The bad: If you dry them in a machine, they will noticeably shrink. So if the fit is perfect when you first try them on, then don't put them in the dryer. They will become too tight and everyone will see the outline of your junk. The colors fade significantly. It doesn't take many washes for the color on these pants to no longer resemble their original richness. (I get that this happens with pretty much all pants, but it's much more extreme with these.) This isn't as big of a deal with colors such as grey or brown, but is quite noticeable with black. Not only that, but if you keep your keys, wallet, phone, etc, in your pockets, you will find that the color in those areas fades even more quickly. The quality just isn't the same as the originals. I've been wearing Dickies since I was in high school--so 22 years ago--and my first pairs of Dickies lasted me a solid 5 years. Not so with these. Maybe it's because, unlike the originals, it's heavy on cotton and light on polyester. (This is probably why they shrink and lose color much more quickly as well.) Expect nicks and tears to show up much more quickly on these pants. All in all, if you wear these pants regularly--say 2 or 3 times a week like me--they'll probably last you no more than 6 months. But, they're cheap, so it's a little more acceptable. The neutral: These pants run a little small in the waist. Even if you are pretty thin, buying your normal waist size may still end up giving you a muffin top. Not only that, but they are very snug through the hips and butt. So if you have a ghetto booty or are lucky enough to be packing heat, you should definitely go up a waist size. (I'm a 30" and go with 31" which works well. Not sure how much change it would be to go from a 32" to a 34".)The logo is now much more prominent. Instead of placing it above the back pocket, as most brands do and as Dickies used to do, the logo now appears on the phone pocket near the knee. I find this obnoxious. I'm not really into announcing what brand of clothing I wear--Dickies or otherwise--so I carefully remove the logo with an exacto knife.BONUS: Don't buy the Dickies slim-fitting shorts. Just buy these, take them to a tailor, pay $10, and get them hemmed into shorts. I get mine hemmed at 13" and they sit right at the knee. I've yet to find slim-fitting shorts that are actually slim-fitting in just the right way, so for me, paying the extra $10 to get them tailored is worth it.

Great pants(Thank you Dickies for making great quality pants again)
Here the deal,Dickies finally makes a pair of pants for thin people with decent quality. I’ve been wearing dickies since the early 90’s. Here’s the catch. You have to go with the sand colored ones, because the darker colors fade around the as*-cr*ck area, unfortunately. Also, it seems that the sand colored ones have better stitching and a nicer brass zipper. Don’t ask me why.

Listen to reviews - Order a size up.
First off - I’m 5’3 and not a man. I tend to go for men’s skinny jeans because they fit my form nice and I don’t have to hem. A lot of the reviews mentioned they ran small. I ordered a 36 when I typically wear a 34 and glad I did. They were super stiff when I first got them for work as a machinist. At first I went, well - they fit nice, and not bad for work. But now a few washes in and they are soft and flexible now. I often find myself still in them hours after work. I might try and sneak them in as dress pants honestly. That’s how they feel now. They can kinda be tight around the calf - sometimes I get caught on them there taking them off. So if you don’t skip leg day - this might not be the pants for you.I love them tho. Remember. Order a size up.

Great pants, few problems..
I work in a book store. These are my work pants. I ordered the charcoal pair a year ago. The left knee ripped the other day when I was pulling the leg down, because when you sit pants come up a little. The charcoal pair does get lighter where it is stressed. Mine were mostly on the knees, which probably contributed to the rip, but also there's a light rectangle on my pocket where I keep my phone. I'm rarely on my knees on and off clock, if you're wondering. Over time the pants do loosen up quite a bit. The fabric will stretch out and may even be a size bigger. They definitely won't be as tight as they were on day one, but they still look great and aren't baggy. By the way, the 5th pocket on the leg isn't great, I've never used it for anything. I wear these pants a ton and for awhile they were my daily work pants 5 days a week. I'd say for the price and lasting a year they're worth the money. Even when we have a "jeans weekend" I prefer to wear these because they're more comfortable than my jeans. I read a lot of reviews that mentioned "cardboard pockets", sure they're stiff at first, but with a little wear and a couple washes it's all very soft.Because I like these pants so much I decided 3 months ago to order a pair in black. Unfortunately, when I zipped them up a couple days ago the zipper came right off. Also it looks like the knees on these are a little lighter from stress as well, but it isn't nearly as bad as charcoal. Both my pants decided to malfunction in the same week, bad luck I guess. I immediately ordered another charcoal pair and I'm going to try desert sand this time. I'll order another black pair eventually, because they look great. I'll give them another chance.

Dickies no falla

Dickies no defrauda.
