The media could not be loaded. The delivery was fast! I took the blanket throw out of the package, read the instructions, and tried it out. It was super soft! Faster than I expected. Light weight and I look forward to using it in my home office in the winter since this room is actually an unheated sunroom. I need something heater, not 3 extra layers of clothing. My bedroom is poorly insulated so it gets cold, because this is an old house.I love the blanket, it can provide extra warmth for me and my dog on cold nights.I can use it anywhere in the house because the cord is long enough to use as a lap blanket when I want to keep my feet warm. Most of the time I plan to keep it flat to warm my body, perfect size for one person on the couch.I like that it has 6 heat settings, which is exactly what one needs. The time setting is also great for saving energy and making sure I'm safe while I sleep. I also found the same model in this store that turns off after 4 hours and like the time setting better.After trying it out, I unplugged the controller and washed it in the machine. Followed the prompts and dried it in the shade (may extend the life of the blanket). I'm going to put it away until fall/winter comes. I will live in blanket until June when I can emerge like a butterfly.I plan to buy another one for my grandmother this year as a Christmas gift. I’m sure she’ll love it.

Purchased for 85 yo mother. She likes the color and feel. Says it doesn’t get as warm as her old one that finally stopped working.

We now own two of these electric throws, and two full size electric blankets. The lastest was purchased as a gift for my daughter who uses one of the throws when she visits. We have had multiple Sunbeam brand electric blankets that never held up in the wash. It would destroy the heating ribbon tape in them. The Westinghouse brand is made better than those. The heat elements in them feel more like a coated braided wire and holds up well when machine washes on a gentle cycle. My only sort of complaint, if it is a complaint at all, is that they are too hot. I can only handle them on a low temp, which means they are doing exactly what they are designed to do.

This blanket is the best. Great size , soft and extra warm. I have not had to use the heat setting above a 2. The color is beautiful and is the best electric blanket I have owned. Mine is king with 2 controllers.

Today is February 4, 2025 and I bought it on November 30, 2024 and it is now dead. It stopped working and I have done all the things you try to reset like unplugging from wall, unplugging from blanket and even unplugged it from both and waited 30 minutes before plugging it back in and still not working. I only use it on my recliner to keep warm because I’m old and cold. Update on 18 November. Westing house contacted me and after a few questions about their blanket they issued me a full refund. Best customer service I have ever had!!!!!

Fits good, feels nice, but doesn't get as warm as others I have had. It's doable, but not "hot"
