The idea of being able to inflate the cast was appealing. The reality was different.I found that the device was difficult to get adjusted as well as trying to inflate the bladders while it is on. I don't think I ever got it right.The inflated bladder kept working it's way out of the plastic shell at the ankle which left hard plastic on my swollen ankle and he little piece that goes under your foot kept folding over itself creating an uncomfortable "bump".I was constantly re-inflating the bladders.
