**Q: just got this and need a few extra parts. is there a parts list for this here?**
A: Mine came with one inside the owner manual.

**Q: Can the king and short hoses be hooked together?**
A: Don't know, the vacuum only came with the 17ft hose.

**Q: is the hose for this stif and hard to use or soft and flexable?**
A: I would say overall is is pretty flexible compared to others.   I actually loop it around the unit itself very easily and without it unraveling.

**Q: Can this be mounted to the floor laying down?**
A: It can be stored this way, however, it needs to be stood up right to be used. There is a ball valve inside that if it is not standing up straight, it will cut off the suction of the vacuum.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Replacing 35 year old shop vac

This is a nearly exact replacement for my 35 year old Craftsman shop vac that finally gave up. The only differences I could find were that the hose end is shorter on the new one and also has three (shorter) extensions for the floor nozzle verses 2 (longer) ones on the old vac. Some reviewers complained about the 20 plus foot hose being cheap and easily damaged (I can't figure out how they damaged the hose). I have stepped on it, run over it without damage to the (old) hose. The included hose is exactly the same as the 35 year old one that I am continuing to use. I like the size of the vac as it can be mounted out of the way and doesn't take up floor space but still convenient to use. With the long hose I can reach most areas of the garage and I don't have to drag around a wheeled canister. When vacuuming the car outside it easily comes off the wall mount and I just add a 10' extension cord. The suction is much better than my old vac probably because of it's age, no complaints there. It is a little loud but that's because it is powerful. That noise is due to the amount of air that it is pulling through it. I am pleased with this purchase.
