SO pleasantly surprised - great magnifiers!
Even though I am not old and my eyes aren't too bad, I needed these for close-up work on things like cross stitch. These arrived yesterday. I couldn't tell from the pictures online if they were going to be big enough or sturdy or even work. Holy smokes, they're great! And I can even wear them with my glasses. It's easy to change the lenses, and the lenses aren't distorted or cloudy - they are clear and they work very well! I was struggling with cross stitch (I just started learning) and had a heck of a time seeing the squares - these glasses changed all of that and last night I was a cross-stitching fool! I also build e-cig coils and now I can see what I'm doing. They'll be great for plucking my eyebrows, or anything else I need to do that is close up. The light is nice and bright (takes AAA batteries so not too heavy on my head). I'm honestly so surprised at how nice these are for the price. My husband wants a pair now (shhhh I'm ordering some for him for Christmas!). If you draw, paint, or do anything that is close-up and you might need a little extra light for, these really are great! I love finding good deals on great products!

Does the job
Very useful for an old guy with bad eyes. A couple of points that kept it from 5 stars. I wanted to wear it with my regular glasses, so I could easily see distance as well. This is impossible with the metal nose piece, which I removed. The rubber pad that is built into the battery cover is really poor. The pad is recessed below the edges of the battery compartment, so these edges contact your forehead and are painful. I glued some pads to this cover that solved the problem. Another problem is that the width is too narrow for my fat head; the temple pieces are somewhat uncomfortable for that reason. With the modifications, I can walk while paying attention to the street and a map. see photo

Well made and comfortable.
These handsome magnifiers are definitely worth the price and built to last.Well made and super comfortable to wear. There are three modes of adjustments: nosepiece, lens angle, and lens distance. The dual LEDs focus the light precisely where needed. There are 5 lenses supplied, each of a different magnification, and the lenses are kept in a plastic storage box which is remarkably sturdy. One more thing. The temple pieces are interchangeable with a supplied elastic headband.

Perfect for diabetic cat owners!!!
Just arrived today and it’s exactly what I needed for testing my diabetic cats’s blood sugar. My eyes aren’t the greatest and trying to prick his ear and then find a tiny drop of blood on a black cat has been next to impossible. I had been using a head lamp and reading glasses but the glare often made it worse than using nothing at all. I tried this tonight and was able to get the “sweet spot” on the first try and get the easiest sample I’ve ever drawn. It gives off enough light to see but not so much that you have a glare on the lancet cover, and you can adjust both the light and lens to whatever angle you need. The lenses came in a nice little case the headband fits my head just fine. Unlike some other reviews, I did not find it too heavy without the headband so just left the earpieces on. Maybe if I were doing something that required me to move around more I’d need the headband, but for my purposes, ear pieces were fine.As for the quality, it seems fine too, especially for this price. It’s not flimsy but I will handle with care just in case. So far, so good!

Very Nice
I do a fair amount of DYI soldering and never owned a pair of mag glasses before. Well I ran into a project that required me to remove a very small SMD regulator from a board and install another same size unit. No way to do this without any magnification. With these and the 3.5x lense I was able to easily solder that tiny 2.9mmx1.6mm SMD chip with 5 leads back on the board. Quality seems pretty decent and they fit on my head nicely and over my glasses just fine. Glad I got them.

Hands free magnifier
This product has enabled me to read books of 900 plus pages. Publishers, in order not to have large books even larger, make the type smaller and some times the space between the lines lines are made smaller. For my aged eyes, it's a strain after 10 or so pages. Using the head band, which makes the magnifiers more comfortable, I'm able to read much longer at one time. It's also nice that the low price puts them in my budget. The device comes with a set of magnifiers of different strengths so they can be used for different purposes. The only improvement I would suggest is to have the directions written by a native English speaker.

I love that I can wear my regular glasses and use ...
I use these for my embroidery work. For the price, you cannot beat these "loupes". I love that I can wear my regular glasses and use the headband attachment to wear these at the same time. It comes with different strength lenses. My only critique is I wish the light was brighter.

Very helpful when working with miniature items
A little heavy with the batteries. I use it for diamond paintings mostly or for needlework. I wish that there would have been, included, lenses greater than 3.5 as in 4.0 and 4.5. But I must say that lens 3.5 was very adequate for the work at hand.
