This wooden basket steamer looks nice and is also incredibly functional. Right off the bat, I noticed its sturdy build and the convenient handle that made handling over steam safe and easy. Each tier comfortably fits about four big buns, making it perfect for family meals or meal prep for the week. One of the standout features is the metal ring adapter included. This little addition allows the steamer to fit securely on any pot I have, which means no more juggling pots and pans trying to find the right fit. The reusable silicone lining is another thoughtful touch, making clean-up a breeze and ensuring my steamer stays in top condition. Love my steamer. It's great. Minor texture issue - the liners have little hatch marks that leave little hatch marks on your buns. Sensory nightmare for me. lol. It's a me issue. No biggie, I will just use other liners. But if you also have sensory issues, you'll either LOVE this or HATE it. Just a heads up! Easy to use. So simple. Steams really well, makes all my dumplings so far. (And I've made a bunch of different kinds!) I haven't used the accessories yet, but that's because I stick with what I know. ONE side note, the handles WILL melt and stick to the pan if you have them too low on the bottom steamer - ask me how I found out. heh..... On the up side, once they cool, they unstick and are just a little wonky looking. Still functional. It's my bad really for not noticing that the plastic was up against the metal and I was a dingus. Of course it was going to melt.

I am very happy with this Bamboo Steamer! The quality is excellent, and the two-tier design makes it easy to steam multiple foods at once. I've used it for dumplings, bao buns, and vegetables, and everything cooks perfectly. The reusable silicone liner is a great addition because it prevents sticking and makes cleanup simple. Definitely had 1 to 2 small rough edges of bamboo and the metal adapter initially slides around on the rim of my pot but does do a great job of steaming soup dumplings and potstickers. Allowed med to make multiple at a time compared to my tiny steamer and the silicone liners work perfectly. Also with the lid you can keep the dumplings warm after cooking and the handles are useful for removing the setup after cooking. For the price though and how perfectly cooked the dumplings are, as well as the amount it allows me to make, I'd say it's a deal.

I have never left a review on Amazon before but I felt I had to with the company. I received this order back in Feb. of this year and it performed perfectly for several months. The Bamboo steamer developed a problem no fault to the company. I contacted customer service and the response was within one day. Chloe from customer service responded with a clear responce and after explaining with a clearly message and photos. The company sent out a new product for me to use. This I feel had to be written about very few companies stand behind there products like this compamy especially since it wasn't really the company's fault. Thank for your help and I will be purchasing more items in the futurer

Like the title implies; cheap and not built to last. I had an older single that I bought at Williams Sonoma maybe almost 20 years and wanted to add tiers of the same size. Literally used on the 4th time and the lid was obstructed by a "wedge" round spacer that came off. Looks like there's small pinholes but no glue or staple/brad so this was just wedged in there and was going to come off. Now the lid is wobbly loose without it. Going to check with seller to see if they will do anything and adjust review accordingly. Edit 07/29/2024 After a brief email sent off to the selling company through Amazon, I was greeted with, what I would term, flawless customer service, hence the upgrade. They acknowledged the mistake, apologized profusely and sincerely and after sending pictures and my issue they were in constant communication. Pre ship, post ship and followed up all along the way, replacing the entire purchase. This is rare folks, from online line vendors. You usually find email tag with a week between responses, unreasonable requests or just rude or standoffish customer service. This was the exact opposite, everyone was great I chose to leave the original review and finish with the rectified issue, to show "stuff happens" but they also went above and beyond. Don't hesitate to reach out of you have a LEGITIMATE issue. I won't hesitate to use them again if I do need anything in their inventory. 1 star upgraded to 5 stars.

I seem to really want dumplings when the local dumpling restaurant is closed, or has a line out the door. WIth this 2 tier bamboo steamer, I can steam my own dumplings and potstickers at home. This set comes with everything you need, including a recipe booklet. Cleanup and storage are easy, and the no-fuss ease of use is more than I had expected. The bamboo steamer is not flimsy, rather, it is thick and roomy, giving me the opportunity to steam veggies AND dumplings. Could not recommend a better unit.

Update: I increased my rating to 3/5 because I figured out how to solve the problem myself. You have to boil the entire tray in a large pot for 20 min or so, after which it won't ooze again. Annoying that I had to figure that out myself but otherwise does what it's supposed to. Seems solidly built and looks pretty, but when using it to steam rice, a weird yellowish fluid is seeping out of the bamboo. It accumulates on the metal adapter and falls into the boiling pot, and it gives the steam a bitter woody smell. My rice is coming out tinted yellow, so it's getting into the steam. I wanted to love this, but it just doesn't do the job. Maybe the steel reinforced one doesn't have this issue. Or maybe I should've somehow boiled the whole steamer before using? Wish I could get a refund on this.
