TEMI Space Toys Rocket Ship Toys for Kids 3-5 5-7 8-10, Astronaut Toys

This is such a great toy. So many different congratulations to it. Our three year old grandson loves it. He can name all the planets, so the slides with the planets on it is fun for me to quiz him. The steam (we use cold water and it works fine) is cool. I just wish it went a bit longer during take off. The water last for several take offs, which is nice.

My son requested “a rocket that can break apart and make sounds” for his birthday and I knew I had my work cut out for me. I was skeptical after reading other reviews but I decided to try it anyways. My husband and I were super impressed though when we got the toy! It has a lot of different configurations which my son loves. It makes noises and has lights that simulate a rocket taking off. Some of the concerns of other reviews were: too hot of steam and projector doesn’t work. We didn’t have either of those problems. The steam comes out the same temperature as the water you put in it. We used room temperature water and the steam never got hotter than that. The projector actually worked better than I expected. You need to put on the lens cap for it to project and it works best in a dark room. If you’re skeptical of this toy after reading other reviews, hopefully this will give you some reassurance since there isn’t another rocket toy out there that comes close to being this cool!

This is a cute little rocket toy that is a great intoduction to space for the littles. I will say that I had no idea it vented water vapor from the bottom on "lift off" and thar was a nice surprise. It is well made and I am not worried about it not enduring normal play from two rambunctious toddlers. The only thing I am not a huge fan of is how loud it is when you push the buttom for liftoff. I am not sure why the manufacturer thought this needed to be so loud, but its not a deal breaker for me. I bought this for my grandson and hope he enjoys it. If not I may confiscate it for my collection. SUPER CUTE :)

Aside from a couple of minor nits, this is a fantastic toy for your budding astronaut. It has an amazing set of features for the price: 1) Lights and sound for powered takeoff. 2) An ultrasonic mister for realistic rocket exhaust 3) A projector with three disks of space images 4) Multiple configurations (main engines, boosters, manned flight capsule) that match current multi-stage rockets (like Artemis / Orion) 5) Male and female astronaut pilots Be prepared to buy batteries, help refill the small water reservoir for the mister, and assist in switching configurations, but then just enjoy as your child unleashes their imagination!

ok so this toy is pretty cool.. it has all the fun stuff like little astronauts and flames you can take off an put back on.. plus you can customize the look with stickers.. the rocket breaks into a few main pieces, so more than one child "could" play with it at once.. the very coolest part, the noise and the "smoke", requires only a scant amount of water (tiny measuring thingy included) and is heatless, making it PERFECT for littles.. think nebulizer.. the same type of misty cloudy vapor.. the toy does require batteries on the rocket section for the sound and smoke to work, but the toy is fun by itself if you need to remove them.. there is NOT a shut off or volume down button, and it's VERY loud... this toy will work for a variety of ages because there are parts of it that are super simple - the main shuttle part, which does not rely on the rest of the toy to be fun - which will appeal to toddler aged littles.. the downside is that the plastic is not super sturdy, like not even lego sturdy, and the hinges and some of the connectors may be easily snapped, but if they're not throwing it down every five minutes, and if you supervise them, it should be okay.. be advised that the astronauts CAN break apart into a lot of tiny pieces if thrown against a hard surface, but its easy to put them back together.. just a bit of a choking hazard there.. bigger kids will like the toy because when you add in everything else, and the lights, sounds, and "smoke", its just really fun and cool.. i gave it 4 stars because of the lack of a volume button... i bought this for my 2 year old boy, and while we do put the whole toy together once in a while to activate the smoke, lights, and sound, we only let him play with the main shuttle and astronauts unsupervised.. really fun toy!

My son love it, he likes the fact that you can just add water to make a steam effect.

This rocket lasted less than two weeks before one of the clips broke….while I do not expect any toy to last forever, at this price point I expected more durability. Great toy while it lasted…complete junk from quality standpoint.

Christmas gift. Kid opens it. The toy is great! kid loves it! Jump ahead 4 hours and it is broken before the day is over. The smoke (mist) no longer works. My kid is upset. I’m upset. Why can’t things be made with any quality any more.
