wait, does this have both a type c and a type a connector?

Yes if you slide it one way, the Type C connector is revealed. Then when pushed the other way the Type A connector is revealed.

Is there a way to attach this to your key chain?

There is a tiny cutout on the rear which presumably is intended for a (thin) keychain or thread loop. But it's so small as to be useless in most cases; I have a lanyard clip attachment with super thin bungee cord to thread onto things like this, and it doesn't fit. I tried to attach the very small split ring from my Swiss Army knife on it, and it was pretty much impossible. You will be hard-pressed to find something which can attach to this. It makes me regret picking this model, as I personally need something that can be clipped on and off from a lanyard.

Will this lock (with a click) in the center, closed position?

Yes, but it doesn't lock outside of the center very well, I have to hold it from moving to put it into the usb port.

Will this flash drive fit side by side next to the power cable on a late 2016 MBP? Apple have given very little room it seems to me.
