You know, I just realized that for the longest time. I've been wasting my money on the expensive brand phones like Samsung and Apple. These brands are so overpriced that it's ridiculous. I own an iPhone 12 and a Samsung S20+ 5G. However, I felt it was time to upgrade my phone because the batteries on these phones are starting to deteriorate. I decided I wanted to give a different brand a try, and save some money so I originally bought a TCL 30XL. And I have to admit I love that phone. Because the screen is massive, which is great for consuming media and the battery lasts forever, which is very important to me. However, the phone doesn't have 5G which is something I didn't think about at the time of purchase. So I bought this phone ZTE Axon 40 Ultra. Let me tell you, this phone is awesome! It stacks up with the Samsung S22 Ultra, 6.8 inch screen, 5000mAh battery and of course 5G connectivity. I paid less than $500 for this phone, about 1/3 of the price of a S22/23 series Ultra and I still get all the same features. The selfie cam is under the glass so there's no camera cut out, and because of this, the selfies arent great, but I can ive with that, since thats not a feature thats most important to me. The selfie cam still gets the job done. This is a flagship phone, and it has a premium feel when you hold it. Another feature its missing is wireless charging, but the 68W charger gives the large battery a full charge in about 25 minutes, so wireless charging is really a moot point. I charged the phone yesterday when it arrived at around 2pm and today at 5pm it still has 42% battery after extensive usage, ie., web browsing, YouTube and messaging apps like Whatsapp and Messenger, and by the way I work overnight so the phone was being used, not like someone who would normally be sleeping that time with the phone in standby. I have been overlooking Chinese brands for far too long and I wished I had known about the quality of their products sooner. TCL is another name to keep an eye on, but ZTE just gave me the flagship I've been looking for at the fraction of the cost of an iPhone or an S series Samsung. I would definitely recommend this phone.

Look, this is a beautiful phone. I love android and I wish we could see more brands create phones like this one. ZTE and Xiaomi are truly the innovators in this space. I never found there to be an issue with pop-up selfie camera’s, but apparently someone did cause no one makes them anymore 😭 RIP oneplus 7T Pro.That wouldn’t be a problem tho if … ZTE would just support their products, Xiaomi does. Why won’t ZTE? This company is responsible for some of the best, if not the best gaming phones in the world. How is it that they don’t support their phones, especially their flagship’s? Government’s, I’m talking about you EU, are so quick to force Apple to do this or that, but ZTE is charging ppl hundreds of dollars for phones that they don’t support. I don’t understand.I know I went on a rant here, but I believe this is just too good of a phone to not get support, at least for 3 years. I suppose of you don’t care about software support though, this should be one of the best android phones you ever purchase.

ok i love notch-less screens my phone before this was the oneplus 7 pro too bad i dropped off my bike and it disintegrated ,it's been 3 days and I accidentally dropped it even with a brand new cover got lightly cheeped and it ripped a little the plastic film it came with i hope the glass underneath is good haven't removed it yet I'm waiting for a replacement , overall i love the phone it has a great battery life and a beautiful display i just wish that for 800 dollars they could have included the earphones like they did on all those unpacking videos on youtube I made a video and for some reasons the audio was out of sync with the video now I'm kinda worry to be honest I'm a first time zte customer i hope i wont have to regret it
