pretty close to plug and play
If after a long wait you were rewarded with the ultimate prize, a new 6G Bronco and want to tow anything with, you need a lighting kit. Since the Bronco has seperate turn and brake lights, and uses PWM technology to run the lights you can't simplay tap into the wires as you would back in the old days, you need a converter and it needs to be a powered one as well or your lights won't work properly. Thus far it's this one or the Ford factory kit and rumor has it the Ford kit is a lot of work to install, this one, still a good couple hours all in but nothing too technical and no wires are tapped, scoth-blocked or spliced. The connectors are plugged in at the tailightlights and one connection to +12V, and one ground wire. The connection to the battery is kind of a pain, that's why it gets a 4 star instead of 5 for install. Running thr wire in such a way to avoid it getting caught on terrain while 2 tracking took more time than the actual connection. I used a brazillion zip ties and drilled some holes in the plastic inner covers between the frame and body to zip the wire to, which ideally will keep it safe. Alternatively, you could use one of your auxiliary circuits and a switch to power the box in the back, there is supposed to be a pre installed wire of twon back there, and I may go back and do that at a later date.It will work to tow my boat, utlity trailer and a light camper. That's all I need. If you need a brake circuit or battery charging you are going to need more than this kit.

Order the right one :)
Pretty straight forward installation. Just make sure you order the right one. My Bronco has led lights... ordered the wrong one first.

Curt Products Rock
Just bought a new 2024 Bronco to flat tow behind my RV. Installed curt Flat tow base plates, trailer receiver and all associated wiring without drama. Everything fit well and was pretty straight forward for installation. Saved hundreds in labor charges.

Easy integration, not the easiest install
Works well, had no issues with function. This kit is a good value compared to the OEM tow harness as this is mostly plug and play. The instructions are fairly good except they tell you to put the box on top of the frame rail. I put mine on the inside of the rear rail right next to the hitch as I thought it would be better protected there. A power wire is required to be run from the battery to the unit, which the included wire is black instead of red which is a bad practice. If you do install this i would recommend buying 30' of 1/2" wire loom and a pack of black zip ties to help hold everything together. I also purchased the curt 4 pin harness bracket to mount the flat plug with, it should be included in this kit, it's a little more than $1.

It just works
Worked as advertised. came with great instructions for the wiring. great for the bronco, alot didnt come from the factory with the tow package due to supply issues, so adding it yourself this is a must have

Missing Steps in Directions
There missing directions. And not just one step. There’s a whole section missing about how and where to run the black wire in the kit. It is for wiring from the battery to the module that gets mounted near the rear of the vehicle. Luckily I was able to figure it out like many others have had to. Nobody should have to look up videos or figure it out. It should all be in the instructions.Once I got mine installed it seems to work great. Time will tell how the wires stand up to the heat from the muffler.

Instructions incomplete
Tgis kit contains left and right tailight wiring quick connectors. It tells you where/how to wire those. A single black and a single white wire are included. My instructions instruct me to wire the white wire to ground. Unfortunately there arw none nearby. Also, no instructions on best bet to find ground...(requires drilling or using self tapper). The kit has a black wire that presummably is for power from the battery, with a fused link BUT doesnt instruct you to wire it there. Overall trash. Do not recommend

Works great on 2024 Bronco with out LED taillights.
This way less expensive than the Ford kit. No need to have dealer turn on the 2024 harness. I found an Amazon-returned item for half price!Ford wanted $500 for the hitch and wiring installed. I got the wiring and hitch for $100 and did it myself. Very easy. Running the power wire to the front was a little tricky but if you are comfortable crimping a couple wire connections then you are good to go.
