Initial impression…. Five Star
The diameter is smaller, but the tension on my ultratech is higher. Shwack factor is very good. I had a clean ultratech with good use, and it was mis-firing on a regular. Now it fires strong.

perfect
I had a knife that was given to me and these springs helped me fix it.

Works for Ultratech. 👍
Quite a bit smaller than original spring, but seems to work well. 🤷

Combat Troodon hard operation.
I bought these springs for a very hard to open,AND almost impossible to close (for me) $550 Microtech Combat Troodon. Let me say.. This is a very nice, reliable, well made knife.I've had Lyme disease and the antibiotic, doxycycline affected my tendons and ligaments. These springs made this knife easy for me to operate. However..they sadly WILL NOT work for my Microtech Ultratech. And YES..I have seen behind that forbidden curtain.. I've had both of my Microtech's apart..there is no evil munchkin in there waiting to jump out and gouge your eyes out. This is a very well designed mechanism with two VERY small springs under the blade trips..they are captured and will not pop out when the handle is separated.. However..there there is one small spring under the switch...so care should be taken and pressure should be kept on the button until the button is free and pressure is off the spring... no problems should be had. I actually bought three more sets because I don't know the actual quality. That said...the one I put in is still working, and I have hundreds of cycles on it... I use this knife every day...not one failure to cycle. If your unsure about taking your knife apart to replace your spring..go YouTube and pay attention..it will be well worth it. Tip...buy the tool for Microtech's "proprietary" screws and glass breaker while your getting these springs...when you get the tool...polish the screw end smooth and shiny...or you will grind the anodized finish off of the edges of the screw pockets. Use loctite...blue... These screws will come loose... It's a spring/harmonics thing...just a little blue loctite...VERY LITTLE...if you see blue on the screw...it's too much...blot it off... and.. ONLY FINGER TIGHTEN...no grunts.I sure hope this helps someone...I know I feel a lot better being able to reliably use this $550 knife. Again.. These springs work...BUT ONLY in my Troodon...NOT my Ultratech.
