Excellent product. The wood was a little dry when it arrived and used some boos. Doesn’t work with pairing knives I have as they are too top heavy. Strong Magnets .. the inner ring is a great addition - comes with extra pair of feet.

I have to applaud the company that makes this, it’s very attractive for the price and no garish, nonsense logo. Tapered in all three planes in a balanced manner, it’s actually very elegant design for something on Amazon at this price.It works well, even with small paring knives, despite what others seem to say. I see some reviews with ***CRACKS*** but they have not protected the block!!! You can see their block is extremely dry and subject to massive humidity swings in a kitchen. You MUST oil it; use some butcher block oil and it will look wonderful and last. Besides, Resafy have a 1 year guarantee.. so just contact them if something is wrong, or Amazon..Very happy with this purchase.

Was very surprised at how large this is. It can easily fit 8 knives on the inside and another 8 on the outside. The quality is very fine, with well crafted woodwork. The magnetic strength is solid and I was worried about putting my professional grade knives in this and having them properly adhere to the sides, but the magnetism is strong without making it impossible to remove the knives. It is a little top heavy, which means if you fill this with knives and push them perpendicular, there is a small risk of the holder tipping. The base is wider at the bottom which augments some of this. Additionally, the finish on this isn’t perfect and when I received the item, there were some blotchy areas. I ended up wiping the base down with warm water and diluted soap before wiping down again with olive oil, which helped remove the splotches and bring the grain out. It is a very beautiful knife stand and I’m incredibly happy with the purchase. I like how the knives release easily when pulling up and when putting them into the rack, the magnet nicely pulls the blade to the rack. I do worry a little about longevity with some of the sharper knives potentially scratching the wood surface over time.
