So fun!
I got this to light bonfires and smoker charcoal. Itโs my new fave toy! The spark that lights it is a little unreliable but it eventually gets it going. Easy to use, it gets hot as heck and all your friends will be super jealous that they didnโt think to buy themselves a cool blow torch gun thingy. My family is a little afraid Iโm gonna light something on fire that I shouldnโt but itโs way safer to use than you would think. I canโt see myself making any dumb mistakes. Full disclosure: I had issues lighting a bonfire a few weeks back and a friend suggested I get a torch but when he saw what I purchased he said โI didnโt mean a full on GUN, I meant a little hand torch the size of a big lighter! I want one!โ

Great gift for the man who thinks he has everything
I bought this as a present for myself, actually. A buddy of mine brought one to a camping trip we were on and it worked great both for helping to start the daily camp fire, and starting up a big stack of charcoal briquets without the use of lighter fluid or anything else but a couple of minutes of concentrated flame. All that needs doing is screw on a cheap can of propane that only costs a couple of bucks at the local discount store, and for safety's sake use a long bbq lighter to reach into the nozzle with a lit flame to set it off. But who are we kidding here? Pretending this thing is practical is ridiculous. Its a legal (very short range) flamethrower. And you can say you have a flamethrower (and prove it). And what can be more satisfying to the discerning carnivore than firing up the barbecue with... a flamethrower? Nothing. Thats what. Its a flamethrower so its fun. It works well. Its inexpensive. It doesn't leak, and as long as you use your brain, don't forget the fact this thing is not a toy and much more dangerous than the little disposable lighters you are accustomed to, watch where you point it and above all don't do anything stupid (its a flamethrower) you won't hurt anything or anybody. And you most certainly won't have the same level of concern about your fire or briquets going out. Ever again.

Worked 3 times before becoming a safety risk
Not happy with it. I only got to use it 3 times before I put it away for the next winter and when I went to use it I could smell propane coming out, but it wouldn't light. I didn't trust it to work safely after the smell of fuel was leaking from somewhere and of course it wouldn't light so, just cheap plastic without any good connections. Loved it while it did work. It helped me start my fires within seconds. I would like to try their other version, but I can't bring myself to buy another one just due to safety reasons.

Arrived broken
Update 1/26/25 Bought a second one after the first failed. This one the igniter works well. They seem to last about a year with occasional use. As far as the product goes. It functions as intended and is used for wood work and starting my fire pit. The ignition button on my torch came broken. I live off grid and returns make me drive 2 hours to the closest UPS store. With that being said I am not making that drive for a $29 torch. As far as function once lit, it does it's job just fine.

Get this torch to brown your Sous Vide food
This food torch was easy to light and easy to adjust the flame. We decided to brown our sous vide pork tenderloin with it. We decided to use it outside and we put the meat on the BBQ grill so we did not have any clean up after torching the meat. It was easy to brown the pork to a nice color and we even added a peanut Thai sauce for the last step while we finished and we achieved a nice caramelized color. The pork was excellent. I love cooking in the sous vide. Using the torch gives me the finished color and no more smoking up the kitchen with a super hot cast iron pan. If you have not ordered a torch this one is great. My son is 6,4โ and the handle fit his hand comfortably. I may get the adapter to use this with a 20 lb propane tank so we donโt run out of gas. It is easy to light and easy to adjust the flame.

If you Camp, you need one.
If you camp and like fires... you need one. Been camping for 20 years, this is the single best way (and most fun) to light the charcoal for the grill. It also works great to light the kindling for a campfire. Haven't really used it for much else... stubborn camp fire won't light... this works great. I have bought all the items you see around, Pitch, Starter paper, the little Marshmallow looking starters.. in truth, they all work... but this is so much cooler and more fun! I leave one in the RV, and bought one for the house. I have other torches, but the fact this one works so well with the little green camping propane bottles make it a must have.

Wow ! Ridiculously Cool !
Very impressed. Purchased this to light our outdoor fire pit where often the wood is a little damp. Go from nothing to blazing fire pit in minutes. The igniter works well and the flame adjustment give a wide flame size range that's easy to aim at any angle. Love the ease of a 1 pound gas that we always have on hand for our grill. A full can will last at least a half hour at full throttle on the torch. Certainly a device to be respected, but properly used seems sturdy and safe.
