Learning curve but a beginner diy’er can get great results
First thing I want to say is: this kit is 100% for beginners. However, it’s for beginners you are DIY inclined, and can problem solve easily. There is a learning curve for sure just look at my photos I did my first I did my thumb because it actually had a tear and that’s what I bought it for was to repair a pretty bad tear but then I thought I’m gonna have a little fun and I do extensions. So what I know about doing press, sans or gel strips is that you typically do your thumbs last, and you start your application on your dominant hand. That will just make sure that it’s easier to do your other hand with nails on. As far as any advice, I have is, I would get a drill even though I really improved my other hand there’s not like just tons of product in it. I still would like it a lot cleaner, and to get closer to my cuticle without scraping my skin off, but it’s not 100% necessary. I did get a drill just came today, so I’m gonna go ahead and fix these horrendous ones on the right side and just clean up. You know the little mistakes on the other side, the other hand. The consistency is very sticky and it is hard to work with at first. It’s hard to know how much slip to use. I kept either being too dry or too wet but at the end I found a happy medium somehow I don’t even know it’s it’s hard to gauge. If you have the bonding and dehydrator, but especially the bonding, I would not use the basecoat. The gel has a really hard time sticking when you add the basecoat on top of those two other products. To summarize, I do recommend this product to beginners and professionals. Alike I also recommend getting a drill and so far I think it’s a great product.

Stop searching!!!
After looking for over a month, this is one of the very best deals I found when it comes to how much (and the quality of) product you get for the cost. Overall, it's an awesome kit! The polygel is very easy to work with, and will level out just enough to smooth out brush strokes and minor unevenness. > Dual Forms: If you've been doing polygel for awhile, you probably know how difficult it can be to find good dual forms. These are the ones everyone raves about in their YouTube videos, so.... yassss! :) > Base & Top Coats: The base and top coats are excellent, just slightly smaller than a typical full size polish, but I wouldn't call them minis. > Brush: The brush that's included is decent. It comes with a cap/lid that doubles as the brush handle, but doesn't include spatula. It's fine for getting started, but you'll probably want to purchase another if you need a spatula or like it included as part of your brush. > Slip Solution: The slip solution works fine. It is very small though! It will get you through your first full set, maybe 2. I personally prefer alcohol over the solution with these particular polys. I've used up to 90% alcohol on these gels with zero issue. > Polygels: - very easy to work with - great for all experience levels, especially beginners because it has some self-leveling - the Clear is one of the clearest that I've ever used - Light Apricot is a translucent neutral that would work well with any skin tone All in all, I very highly recommend this set, especially if you're a beginner and have been trying to decide among all the options available on Amazon. It would be really hard to beat this value for price! *** PHOTOS: I used the same brand polygels in Soft Pink, White, & Clear for this set. This was my 5th time using polygels, and only the 2nd full set I had done without dual forms. I'm pointing that out to let you know that even if you aren't perfect, this gel is easy to work with and can still turn out nice! > The 1 hand photos were done with my non-dominant hand!

Some good, some bad, polygel kit
Giving 3 stars because there were some things I loved and things I did not love. I previously owned an LED lamp so note that one is needed but not included for this. Love that it cures quickly and stayed on until I wanted to do them again. Came off easily. I would say this is like a cross between acrylic and regular gel polish. The peach color is very nice nude. Now for the not so good. 1. The clear does not get hard like the peach color. I have no clue why. More time to cure and a thicker application did not help. Won’t be able to use it. 2. The dual forms are very arched. As someone who has very average nails, they were hard to size appropriately. In order to get it to lay flat on my nail bed, I had to do larger sizes than what would have fit my nail well which meant more filing. 3. The slip solution is garbage. It makes the polygel runny and hard to shape. Just use rubbing alcohol. Other brands may be fine, this one is not. The first time I did it they were not great. Very thick underneath and uneven. My second application went better however I used rubbing alcohol to spread and I ended up purchasing a small drill which made it go way better and the overall look is more professional looking. Overall 3 stars. It’s an affordable kit to try out but will likely try other brands in the future to see if there’s a better result.

I have tried sooo many nail gel products and they always end end up falling off my natural nails. I couldn't believe how easy this product was to use. I love that it comes with this slip solution so you can apply the gel like they do at the salons. At first I didn't use the plastic nails that it comes with....omg you can't go wrong with those, after your nails cure, you pop off the plastic nail, file and top coat it. I love the natural pinky colour, I ways try and find nail polishes this shade. You have no idea how much time you saved me....I can do my own set in under an hour!

El gel transparente llegó con una grieta en el costado derramando producto. Paquete llego pegajoso junto con los artículos que tenia dentro.

This was a good introduction to polygel, nothing is outright bad and for the price the items that aren't perfect are forgivable. I didn't really like the dual forms, none fit quite right and had a bit too much arch which is saying a lot because I have darn well near witch style arches naturally so if this was too much for me, it'll be really frustrating for someone with flat nailbeds. I think the issue really hits home on the underside, it's really hard to keep the gel out from under your free edge because it's shape encourages a huge lump of product towards the free edge where the arch kinda would be. Maybe it's some user error (I'm an acrylic/hard gel and paper form guy) involved. The gel itself is good, clear is sticky af but workable and the brush is decent and stiff enough to handle the consistency. I love the base and top coat that comes with it, I think the Modelones top is my fave out there right now. The slip solution bottle is mad small but I make my own when working with builder gel anyways so it's not a big deal but would have been nice if it was bigger, considering how sticky the clear gel can be.

See order of photos 1. Prepared nail 2. Base coat (cure 30-60 seconds) 3. Line gel evenly in form 4. Put filled form on nail DO NOT PRESS down hard (cure 30-60 seconds) 5. Lift off form to reveal smooth nail 6. File and shape nail remove dust and top coat nail 7. Leave as is or polish with your favourite colour This product will SAVE you so much money, no longer do you need to go to a nail salon. 🥰 You'll need a UV/LED light to cure the product but there's so many cheap machines it's no big issue. ***** REMEMBER TO USE A FAIR AMOUNT OF SLIP SOLUTION ON YOUR BRUSH so it NOT sticky. Don’t over do it though ! Sanitize your nails before applying products They'll last you weeks. I'm "DEFINITELY" a repeat buyer for this product ANY Negative reviews are from people that didn't follow the instructions, I’m a former retired nail tech this product does work. When you are molding the PolyGel take your time, it WON'T HARDEN, play with it until you get it the way you want it. THEN CURE (30-60 seconds)
