Should have got a key chain years ago but didn’t want to look nerdy. No more stress worrying about keys and other items I keep forgetting where I placed or being stolen.It’s all good condition. I feel the need to be careful with holding it as it retracts. Cheap enough to replace if it breaks. Easily fits into jeans pocket and covered by a t-shirt/top.It’s not good for leaving it attached while the vehicle key is being used. There is constant pulling tension. It could be do with a way to lock the length so it can’t retract. The paracord ones are better for driving.The extre one with a clip is good for when there is nothing to hook on to. The carabiner has lip that makes it difficult to undo from a jeans belt hook. I got swivel quick release hook from B&Q that makes it so much better. Need to paint it Matt black.

My initially review was based on a purchase of a twin pack, where I wrote that I really liked the metal cord inside, which has a lovely feel to it. However, the clip broke off on the third day. The seller contacted me and I have since received a replacement for the item with the poor clip - I have used it a few times and it seems really good quality, so I am inclined to believe that the poor clip was a one-off oddity. So, I am happy with the replacement, and confirm that the metal cord has a great robust feel to it.

These are fantastic and can hold many keys and weight without hanging out of the reel. Very strong, durable and long lasting.
