Very strong , does the job

I use this retractable I.d pass holder for approximately 15 hours a week in my local hospital. It does take a little getting used to because of it’s very strong retractable mechanism, this is no bad thing compared to the one I was issued with it’s like night & day difference in quality & robustness. It’s smart discreet & very well put together, however choose wisely which model to buy, my version the clip on is only ideal if the user is going to wear it clipped on to a waist belt if you can’t wear it clipped to a belt then consider a hook on version but do remember the recoil action will be just as powerful avoid flimsy clothing if you don’t want it to damage your garment or detach from you. I am aware you can also hang keys from the attached key ring holder but in my case I’ve removed the key ring & use it as an I.d pass holder only. The mechanism is smooth & quiet but do beware keep your hand on your I.d pass / keys as you pull it out because this will spring back very strongly especially take care if you clip it close your midriff. I like the materials used I can see & feel this will take a lot of heavy use before it shows signs of ware. The weight is reasonable, I can’t say it’s noticeable or makes a difference when I’m wearing it & definitely not bulky I haven’t snagged it anywhere. Just what I needed in stressful situations, a pass holder made to take the punishment & hold its own.

Very robust pass reel

I have used these for years and only just recently had to replace mine as it got jammed in the seat and I got out the van and shut the door which cut the cord, new ones are slightly smaller but feel more compact just as strong and excellent value for money I’m an auto locksmith and have again access every day for people who have left their keys in the car must of recommended these hundreds of times

Yes it's brilliant and strong as I have lots my disabled bus pass a few times. So now I wear it round my neck when I go out

This is the third time I have bought this type of product, and these are definitely the best. They are very heavy duty, and the plastic coated metal cable has great tension, so very secure. I would definitely buy this again and recommend it if you need a heavy duty retainer!
