This strudy retracting clip is a secure way to keep my penknife and prybar attached to my waist whilst allowing immediate access. It's well made and should last, so it's ideal. The cord is a strong wire and it has a powerful retracting spring. I didn't really need two and the extra one has a less secure belt clip, which is a shame, but I may find a use for it. 🤔

I use this retractable I.d pass holder for approximately 15 hours a week in my local hospital. It does take a little getting used to because of it’s very strong retractable mechanism, this is no bad thing compared to the one I was issued with it’s like night & day difference in quality & robustness. It’s smart discreet & very well put together, however choose wisely which model to buy, my version the clip on is only ideal if the user is going to wear it clipped on to a waist belt if you can’t wear it clipped to a belt then consider a hook on version but do remember the recoil action will be just as powerful avoid flimsy clothing if you don’t want it to damage your garment or detach from you. I am aware you can also hang keys from the attached key ring holder but in my case I’ve removed the key ring & use it as an I.d pass holder only. The mechanism is smooth & quiet but do beware keep your hand on your I.d pass / keys as you pull it out because this will spring back very strongly especially take care if you clip it close your midriff. I like the materials used I can see & feel this will take a lot of heavy use before it shows signs of ware. The weight is reasonable, I can’t say it’s noticeable or makes a difference when I’m wearing it & definitely not bulky I haven’t snagged it anywhere. Just what I needed in stressful situations, a pass holder made to take the punishment & hold its own.

I have to have a card at work for scanning through security gates and the like, and the work-issued lanyard was awful. Bought this as a replacement, and I could ask for more. The plastic body feels sturdy, and the retraction has a fair bit of force to it. The clasp fits perfectly on my belt - although it may not fit so well on wider belts, so do be careful. One thing I didn’t notice, is that it includes a loop to keep keys on! Really solid product, I’d definitely get another.

These are fantastic and can hold many keys and weight without hanging out of the reel. Very strong, durable and long lasting.

Should have got a key chain years ago but didn’t want to look nerdy. No more stress worrying about keys and other items I keep forgetting where I placed or being stolen. It’s all good condition. I feel the need to be careful with holding it as it retracts. Cheap enough to replace if it breaks. Easily fits into jeans pocket and covered by a t-shirt/top. It’s not good for leaving it attached while the vehicle key is being used. There is constant pulling tension. It could be do with a way to lock the length so it can’t retract. The paracord ones are better for driving. The extre one with a clip is good for when there is nothing to hook on to. The carabiner has lip that makes it difficult to undo from a jeans belt hook. I got swivel quick release hook from B&Q that makes it so much better. Need to paint it Matt black.

It's wayy bigger than it looks in the photos. The clip only stays in place on thick fabric, tried to clip it to the pocket of my scrub top but it moves around and falls off when I stand up. The spring inside is very strong and therefore not the easiest to pull out to tap your card. Does feel pretty sturdy though (maybe too sturdy.) It's much more police officer than doctor.

Das Stahlkabel ist widerstandsfähig und ummantelt mit einem durchsichtigen Kunststoff-Schlauch. Die Einzugskraft ist hoch, d.h. auch ein größeres/schwereres Schlüsselbund wird sicher eingezogen. Das heißt aber auch, dass man kräftig ziehen muss, um das Stahlseil abzurollen. Es gibt einen (gummi-) Dämpfer-Ring, der am Ende den Einzug dämpft, falls man mal das Schlüsselbund loslässt und "aufrollen" lässt. Der Aufrollmechanismus trägt am Gürtel etwas auf (incl. Gürtel-Haken 15mm)
