The author compassionately and wisely names what has happened to me and what continues to shape my inner world. As a Generation X Black woman, I recognize myself in the experiences of microaggressions, tone policing, beauty standards, and the constant assumption of aggression. Iโm not even halfway through the book yet, but its purpose is already clear: to help Black women dismantle oppressive barriers, heal from unrequited love, and cultivate deep selfโcompassion. Through practical exercises, journaling prompts, and empowering affirmations grounded in our lived experiences, it reminds me of a powerful truthโI am done loving less. Review: Very inspiring! - A much appreciated tool on my healing journey!

Powerful, relatable, and uplifting
This workbook really speaks to you in a way that feels intentional and affirming. Itโs not overwhelming or preachy itโs thoughtful, relatable, and easy to work through at your own pace. I appreciated how it centers the experiences of Black women and encourages reflection without judgment. It feels like something you can come back to whenever you need grounding, clarity, or a reminder to pour back into yourself. Definitely worth it if youโre on a self-love or healing journey.

Useful but poorly made
Great workbook! The content within is very useful but the paperback itself is poorly constructed. Pages fall out when you open book to write in it.
