Great Great product
This is a perfect, spot on match for black Harley Evolution engines. If your powder coated engine is looking rough. This is the paint that you want to use. Same color and texture. Put it on in 3-5 light coats. I just painted the cases and inner primary on a 95 heritage but not the cylinders. You cannot tell the difference. Extremely satisfied.

It does the job
Not oem but does the job, barely noticeable. Wonderful product.

Perfect match for vintage two-strokes
Paint is fresh and worked flawlessly. Definitely NOT old, dead stock. Perfect finish for vintage two-stroke M/C exhaust.

A nice substitute for the DYI painter.
Dries nicely and with proper surface preparation, looks semi-gloss, like original paint on older Kawasaki frames, etc.

Comes out great, but finish is not durable.
I used this on motorcycle engine covers and front subframe parts. The finish is great, it looks great, and it is easy to apply evenly and almost impossible to get runs if you are handy with a spray can. Although, the finish is not durable against scrapes. It doesn't chip, but you can easily scrape through the finish. I would recommend this for use on areas that are seen, but are not often touched. Handling by hand is fine, but if you knock it with a wrench or scrape it with a tool tip, it will go through. Just choose where you apply it wisely.

Easy to use and a super tough finish
This paint was recommended by a motorcycle shop owner. Initially I was impressed by the finish quality of this paint when it was used on the engine restoration of a vintage AMA Super Bike that I purchased. I decided to use the satin version on a bike I was building. It's the most forgiving rattle can paint I've ever used. It sprays nicely and the finish is exactly what I was hoping for. Follow the directions carefully, provide the necessary time between coats, and you'll be pleased as well!

Usual crappy spray bomb. Don't expect it to work well.
Garbage. First coat went on OK, subsequent coats after letting the piece flash a couple of minutes were a disaster. It shot blobs of paint all over leaving splotches all over the piece wasting my prep work, time and money. Color may or may not be good but who could tell from all the paint blobs all over the piece. Tired of products that are priced at this level and don't perform.

perfect for VW cylinders, pulleys and engine cooling tin.
I paint my well cleaned parts outside in direct sunlight on a warm dry day and get great results that last for years. This is not a thick paint so use thin coats and you will get a great smooth satin finish. I've used both Yellow label & Black label cans without the spitting problem some people complain of and will buy a few more cans when another engine comes up on my bench

Cracking stuff, used on my stove with great results, but mainly my classic Yamaha engine cases.
