I very rarely write reviews, but this hat is actually really good quality and looks beautiful on!

I was nervous buying these fedora hats. So many complaints about crushed or creased hats. Mine were pretty good in that respect, minor creasing that I can get out with a steamer. I'm disappointed that the hat band was missing. Now I've got to try to find one that will fit without being snug and squishing the top. I am impressed, the felt material is good quality and feels good to the touch, the measurements of the hat including the brim are accurate. I bought 2 hats, one for me and one for my daughter for Christmas. I can't wait to start wearing mine.

I saw other reviews said the hat shipped in too small of a box, but I thought if that happened to me, I could fix it with a steamer. I was wrong--I tried several times with several methods and the hat was unsalvageable. Maybe if I wanted a cowboy hat with a curled brim it would have worked, but there was no way to get the brim flat again.

Love love love the hat. It's exactly was I was looking for. Everything about it seems just fine, material, design and good fit. No cons. Do not recommend for summer, it traps the heat. It's more for good style and cooler weather. Overall, I'm happy.

This hat was EXACTLY what I was looking for, BUUUUT when i got the hat there was no shaper in the head part of the hat, so there was some dents. The brim of the hat needed work too. I used a steamer to rub out the dents and fix the brim. The brim was a little unmoving so I worked with what i had.

I live in a town that does a lot of pirate themed events and parties. I needed a last-minute hat and this one actually fit the theme and they had overnight shipping. It's a great hat - stylish, sturdy, and well made. I bought a flapper headpiece and necklace set that was less expensive than pirate feathers and it is perfect. TONS of compliments at the most recent pirate event.

The hat is a basic hat but has a smaller brim than the hat in the picture - not even sure the hat is the same one as pictured in the listing. The hat was received inside 2 plastic bags, both of which were smaller than the hat, so the crown was crushed and the brim was turned in various directions. Given how soft the material is, I am hoping that the shape will fall into place and won't need to be steamed to give it a shape
