It's stinky but, this is the only thing that works on my psoriasis patches.

I used Psoriasin Deep Moisturizing Ointment - 2% Coal Tar for several weeks on dry, itchy patches. The ointment has a thick, greasy texture that’s best applied at night; it forms a protective layer that helped prevent cracking and reduced irritation by morning. I noticed gradual improvement in flaking and redness, especially on my elbows and knees, though results took several applications to become noticeable. The coal tar scent is mild and fades after a few minutes of application. A little goes a long way, which helps with the price. The tube lasted for a while with consistent use. For anyone using it during sun exposure, be mindful of photosensitivity and consider sunscreen during the day. If you’re considering this for facial use, test on a small area first, as I found it a bit too heavy for my cheeks. Overall, a solid option for targeted body care when you’re dealing with psoriasis-related dryness and flaking.

I've used countless creams and serums to try and get this patch of skin to stop scaling and flaking, and this is the only thing that has worked. It's funny because my patch of skin is on my nose, and this stuff STINKS. The stink of it all is sooo worth having smooth skin and finding relief. You get used to it. I do have to reapply it as you do with moisturizers and lotions, but it keeps the irritation away for a good amount of time. A little goes a long way and this bottle is big. Definitely gonna keep this in my inventory.

Works really well on my arm psoriasis, but OH! THE SMELL! it's horrible! Luckily, I work from home, so nobody has to smell it, but I won't put it on if I'll be around anyone else! Smells like tar. It did make my psoriasis better.

Honestly not too sure exactly how helpful this cream was. It had a very strong odor which was not ideal

Life changing. Can't believe my dermatologist never told me about this, only had me coming in twice a week for expensive laser treatments that never fully worked. A couple months of this ointment and my legs--which had been so covered in red scales that I only wore long opants to the gym--were completely clear. Now I just use it when there's a flare up, which is seldom.
