my cat has sucked the soul outta this thing. 😭 saved our furniture from scratching. he likes sitting on it too. it doesn’t move around too much as he is scratching it too. i need to replace the cardboard already after purchasing it only a few weeks ago.

This cat scratcher is really nice my cats seem to enjoy it. It was fairly easy to put together and I felt the price was fair. My furniture sure thanks me for this purchase! Overall I would recommend this scratcher to others.

We’ve had this cat scratcher for about three months, and our cat uses it every single day. He actually scratches it a LOT, which means we’ll need to replace it again soon, but I’d much rather have him tearing up the scratcher than our couch or other furniture. 😂 I definitely feel like having this available has helped keep him from scratching other things around the house. Our cat only uses the part that is sitting on the floor. He completely ignores the vertical/top portion, but I think if we turned it over, he would use that side too since he scratches whatever surface is on the floor. Because he only uses the bottom, we haven’t had any issues with it tipping over, and it feels pretty sturdy while he’s scratching. Assembly was also very easy. My biggest complaint is the mess. The cardboard isn’t the best quality, and as he scratches it, little pieces of cardboard come off and end up all over the floor. I feel like I’m vacuuming up cardboard pieces every day. 😂 He also has absolutely no interest in the little ball toy. One other thing to know is that the wooden piece that holds the two scratching sections together is pretty easy to break. We actually broke ours, but the scratcher is still completely usable. Overall, my cat definitely likes it and uses it every day, and I think it does a great job giving him an appropriate place to scratch. I just wish the cardboard created less mess and the connecting piece was a little sturdier.

So far so good. It wasn’t hard to put together once I got my mind around the shapes. I like how sturdy it feels, the little ball is cute, and I really like that it can be positioned in different ways so the babies can decide what they like. My girls love these hard strong items that they can really scratch on but also lounge on and they are very different in every way. I hope they will choose this for as long as it lasts and the $20 was worth it for them to have something to love.

We have two new young cats who immediately started to scratch our sofas and chairs. I tried this cat scratcher based on good reviews but knowing that cats can be very picky. Within two days both cats are scratching with great enthusiasm on this product. I’m so happy with it I’ve bought two more so they always have one nearby. While our cats are still young and small, their vigorous scratching has so far not resulted in significant wear, so it’s holding up well. I bought the 27” one but will probably need the taller one as they grow. They use both the horizontal and vertical scratching surfaces.

We love this so far, and so do my cats. We have 4 cats and 2 immediately started using the floor option, which is new for them. It's sturdy enough and simple (when I opened the package I thought I was missing parts bc of how simple it is). An it's sleek design makes it non-obtrusive in our small space. I'm mostly writing a review to address the cardboard quality bc some reviews showed theirs being shredded quickly. I actually find the cardboard to be very dense and better quality than most cardboard scratching options. I was impressed with it. I'm assuming I'll have to replace it at some point (and they sell replacements) but I'm confident it will hold up long enough to make it worth the cost. Overall, very happy with this product and I would buy it again.

It was a little difficult to put together. Not complicated, just physically tricky because you have to place the anchors correctly and there are no notches or markings. The parts themselves are not labeled, but it isn't hard to compare them to the pictures in the instructions and figure out what is what. It took me about 20 minutes to put together by myself, you might benefit from someone to help you hold it while you attach the anchors - that's the only thing I can think of that would make it easier. But the end result looks good and it is a great quality for a cardboard scratcher.

The cat loves it but the scratched cardboard makes a real mess as the 'flakes' get everywhere. I also hope it's non-toxic because the cat also chews on the cardboard flakes.

The mostly important thing is that Charlie uses the board every day. It is supported against the wall so is suitable for a large 5 year old Tom cat and is saving other areas of the house from further plucks/scratches !
