Easy to install

I put a pair of these on my 2017 Nissan Altima SV. I bought them because they were the only ones I could find that claimed to be waterproof. There is a sealant visible, so hopefully they will not leak. They appear to be of excellent quality, however there is a slight difference between the original and these. The outer plastic lens on the original is crystal clear, whereas these have a smoky tint to them. I've included a photo of the old and new. I don't know if Nissan made these with the tint or not, but if you're purchasing only one headlight assembly, be aware that they may not match. If you continue to use the halogen bulbs, the tint may reduce the light output slightly, however I replaced them with led bulbs which are much brighter and whiter, so no problem there. I actually like the looks of them better than the original. If you're replacing these lights most likely you're aware that the low beams on the originals are useless because the reflective material has disintegrated, so just replacing the bulbs will not serve any purpose. These headlight assemblies overcome that problem.
