Thinksport Sunscreen,Kids,Spf 50+ 1 3 FZ

I was going on a week-long sail of the Grenadines, with a lot of beach time and snorkeling. After reading about the possible damage to coral reefs caused by oxybenzone and octinoxate, ingredients in many popular sunscreens, I decided to look for a mineral based alternative. I am very fair and burn easily, so I needed something with a high SPF and I planned tp spend a lot of time swimming and snorkeling, so I needed something water-resistant. On top of that, I have pretty sensitive skin. After doing a bit of research, I selected the Thinksport Kids Safe Sunscreen. I just got back from my trip and can report I was one of the few people in our little group who did not get sunburned--not even a little red, even though I spent a lot of time in the sun and surf. And that is despite the fact that I did not always reapply it every 80 minutes as suggested. The lotion does come out of the tube very thick and white and can be a little difficult to spread evenly, but if you rub it on well, it does not leave a white residue. Plus no really noticeable smell and it left my skin feeling pretty nice. I lent an extra tube to my cabin mate after she got a little sunburn and she is planning on using it from now on.

Didn't even open the bottle of the Kid's safe version after a bad experience with the original formula. I bought multiple bottles to make sure family was covered as summertime arrived. Use of the product resulted in severe burning of my family even when used as recommended. Customer service has been horrible, slow and unsatisfactory response...been trying for nearly a month to resolve. They will not return our money for defective product. They have offered us a promo water bottle in exchange for the opened tubes so that they can test the product...but, will not reimburse us for the product itself. Tried to return directly to the seller, but seller will not allow because it is a personal care product. Blue Lizard is a safe and dependable product, great for sensitive skin...even at the lower SPF 30 levels. Don't waste your time or put your family at risk of severe burning by trying this product....neither the seller nor the company will stand behind the product.

Works well. A little hard to rub in but doesn't dry out the skin like some others.

I have tried a LOT of sunscreens, and this is just... my favorite! It's a decent barrier if I put on a sort of thick layer before I go out in the southern CA sun, which is just... desert brutal... and then apply another layer every 90 minutes (which is recommended, anyway). I know there are other sunscreens with chemicals and junk in them that may last a bit longer or be slightly better protection, but I can't stand the smell of those, and I can't wait to get the chemicals off of me at the end of the day. ThinkSport and ThinkBaby don't have that horrible chemical smell. They are pleasant-smelling and feel SOOO much nicer than the chemical junk, to me. Plus my skin looks better with constant use. Especially since some of the others make my face break out. I feel better putting it on my kid, too, even though he prefers the spray kind. I love ThinkProducts, and will keep using. Thanks, Think!

I’ve used this in past summers & love it for my sensitive kids. I ordered the 3pk in hopes to have enough to last through summer and fall vacation. In our grocery store, they sell it for a little more$ ($1-$2 more) & I noticed exp date was next year. I ordered the 3pk from here & the exp date is in 6 months!! I’m disappointed about that, as I may not use it all before exp date. I’m not sure how long this sat on a storage shelf.

I usually buy the regular adult formula, but the kids version was on sale so I decided to try it out. The only difference I notice is the children's version has a slight sweet smell that goes away after you put it on. I do have a small sensitivity to chemical smells but this doesn't bother me. ThinkSport has been the best natural sunscreen protect I have to yet to come across. I am very light skinned, shop natural when I can, and prone to burning easily so I'm pretty picky about sunscreen. This rubs in easily and does *not leave a white residue on your skin compared to other natural sunscreens out there.

Great for the environment, bad for your clothes, car, friends... basically anything you touch. Good thing, you’re easy to spot. You stand out as the ghostly white one on the beach!

It works very well...it is so hard to apply and spread on. While I’m fine with the sunscreen leaving a white sheen, this goes on as a super thick layer, and is hard to spread out evenly. I love that it’s reef safe and kept us from getting sun burnt. Bought a 3 pack, so me and my bf could carry 2 in our carry-ons, for our trip to Bali...Airport security will definitely give it a second glance because even though the bottle is only 3oz, it definitely appears to be larger/hold more than that.
