Review: I keep searching for the best travel pillow and I think I found it! - Initially when I received this, I thought, Oh Lord, this is weird looking...will I have the guts to use this on our plane trip to Hawaii, which is 9 hours in the air? Before going on that trip, we were taking a 10 hour road trip to our nephew's wedding. So that was the initial test, where no one would see this except my husband and perhaps a random glance from a passing motorist. I get very sleepy on a trip, but could never get comfortable, no matter what I tried. I have a cedar chest half full of travel pillows that I don't use. But let me tell you, weird as this looks, it was Extremely comfortable in the car. I could use it in different positions. If I didn't need glasses to see, I could have used it resting my face in the top & inserting my arms in the side and actually read! But that's not possible if you need to wear your glasses. Regardless, it kept my head in a comfortable position and I could actually sleep. The next trip was Hawaii. It worked just as great on an airplane as in the car. At this point, I didn't care what anyone thought...the woman sitting next to me thought it was kind of cool. It did not take a lot of effort to blow up, actually little effort at all. It had a double valve, I think it was called, that prevented the air from escaping. When you were done with it and wanted to deflate it, it was very quick and easy with the valve system. The only thing I don't like about this is the storage bag. It's almost impossible to get the deflated pillow back in it, unless you're an engineer or Hercules. I found a bigger drawstring bag that I used and that worked much better. It was still small enough that it fit into my carry-on bag. All this I could do in a few minutes when we landed and were still in the plane. All in all, I'm glad I bought this and I highly recommend this product. My sister tried it and she loved it too! My hunt is over.
Review: buy it - Rewriting this now that I've had 4 international 12+ hour flights with this pillow. I've been flying on united basic economy as a 99KG 180 cm (~6ft tall and 215 lbs) man and this has been perfect. I actually bought an empty fabric neck pillow that you can put things in which I hide this pillow inside of until the flight takes off because inflatable pillows aren't allowed and you'd look silly bringing on such a large pillow. I was genuinely able to sleep the majority of my flights while also using earplugs / noise canceling in ear headphones. I was so comfortable and I know my seat mates appreciated it because as a broad shouldered big guy I took up LESS space because of this pillow... the way you snuggle into it and draw your shoulders and legs together to keep it in place actually gives your seat mates more leg and shoulder room. is it perfect? nah... I personally really don't like the fabric texture they use... but that's a minor complaint. Also I will say if you can get this in black do it - because these aren't actually allowed on flights and I was asked one time (towards the end of my flight like 10 hours into a 13 hour flight) to deflate it and I was reminded they weren't allowed. As far as sizing goes I actually wish it was a little bit bigger

**Q: Has anyone used these on Delta, were they accepted?  I saw a review where an airline made the customer put it away but they did not say which one.**
A: I flew Delta overseas from SLC to Detroit to Frankfurt and then from Paris back to SLC. This was in April 2023.  I read on Delta’s website that inflatable’s were allowed and indeed they were as I used it and no one had a problem with it. You can even use inflatable foot rests. I would imagine you couldn’t use inflatables in the emergency exit aisle though I don’t know this for sure.

**Q: For anyone with the problem of air leaking, have you tried using liquid sealant (e.g. Slime tire sealant) to help reduce the leak?**
A: I wouldn't use it - too toxic for something you inflate with your mouth.  If it leaks due to a defect return it for another.  We have bought two and had no problems.

**Q: Is there a washable cover for the top face part available? Mine does not have a removable cover**
A: No cover comes with this. I returned it as the felt seemed to attract lint.

**Q: If you do air this out will the chemical smell go away or does it return after each time stored?**
A: I have not noticed the smell since airing it out after purchase. I've had it packed away and used it on 2 different occasions since and have not noticed the initial offensive smell.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great when allowed on flights

The pillow worked well. Was easy to blow up and gave many more options to sleep comfortably. Folds up nicely. A little big in your carry-on but worth it. I only took one star off because at the beginning of a 16 hour flight, the flight attendant announced that they weren’t allowed on the flight. However we were allowed to use it on the way back.
