Taste of Home Cooking for Two: Save Money & Time with Over 130 Meals for Two

I like the fact it's a cooking for two cookbook and love it's a Taste of Home cookbook. I have been a fan of Taste of Home for many years. I like that the recipes are from real home cooks just like us. Recipes are usually simple with common ingredients most of us already have in our kitchens or can easily find them in our local markets. Some of my favorite recipes are from Taste of Home. If you are looking for easy good home cooked meals give Taste of Home a try.

Slowly I'm building up my cookbook library with newer Cooking for One or Two type books. I need the end result of fewer helpings made and am tired of doing the math and guessing the cooking time. Unlike my other Taste Of Home cookbooks (regular and cooking for two) this one is a glossy paperback and more of a square shape than the big rectangle the older editions are. As always, the recipes are tempting (tho some a bit more complicated than my novice standing). They have real nice glossy pages and color pictures. My main problem is deciding which meals to make -- and somehow I always end up in the desserts section. Like I said, tempting.

I bought this book to add something new to my everyday routine cooking. The book is just amazing. I found so many great recipes with simple ingredients. A book has pictures for each recipe and step by step directions. If you want to learn something new you will like this book a lot.

I bought this book for my husband for Christmas two years ago. Every Friday night he takes over the kitchen to make dinner. He’s not a seasoned cook. He loves this book. The print is a good size so he doesn’t struggle to read it. The recipes he’s followed have been delicious. He’s enjoying himself and I’m enjoying the benefit of his efforts!

I always had difficulty cooking for just my husband and myself. This cookbook has great recipes that are very easy to follow and use simple ingredients. I am excited about cooking again! I like the variety of dishes. The book also offers several meatless recipes that are perfect for my vegetarian friends.

If you are looking for high end recipes for two, this book is for you. I was looking for down home simple recipes. Out of all the recipes in this book I found three that met my needs.

Love this cookbook it has tasty recipes. It’s just the 2 of us and leftovers would also get thrown out. Now we maybe have enough for one person to have as a snack.! The recipe are easy to use and have regular ingredients so you are not buying something you may never use again.

Great book, lots of interesting and easy recepies for people living alone. Made several and so far very pleased with results.

I bought two for Christmas gifts. The top right corner of the cover of one was bent - this was a disappointment. Not sure where the responsibility lies for that but not happy. Otherwise pleased with the cookbooks.
