ORACAL Silver 651 Vinyl PinStriping, Pinstripes Tape for Autos, Bikes, Boats - Decals, Stickers, Striping, Pinstripes - 1/4"

I was honestly surprised by the quality. The ORACAL 651 pinstriping tape is easy to apply, has a clean, consistent finish, and sticks extremely well without lifting around curves. The color is vibrant, and the adhesive feels much more durable than cheaper alternatives. After installation, it looks almost factory-installed. Great for automotive accents, trim, or custom detailing. Definitely worth the price, and I'd buy it again.

Good product to use if your adapt at replacing existing pinstripe. Or adding "new" pinstripe to a vehicle. Has good adhesive and bright color to "dress up" any vehicle. Adds great visibility !

Overall satisfied for my purposes. The length of 150ft was plenty even with a couple mistakes, still have extra even. The one issue I have is that the tape is NOT smooth cut, so don't expect nice pin stripes. The rough edges only worked for me since I did a simple topographic design. Probably won't buy this one a second time.

This tape is great. I replaced my old faded pinstripes and these worked great. And I have plenty left over for future replacements or other projects. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND using a heat gun when applying. My first go I didn’t use any heat, and by the next morning it was peeling off. The second time I used a heat gun and it’s been sticking on strong for about a month now. Only complaint is that the cut on the tape isn’t the best. Some of the tape I had to throw away because it wasn’t cut correctly. (About 3-4 feet worth) but overall good product.

* one week in - had given a 5 star review however after one week, and 2 professional car washes later the product is flaking off. This will take hours to remove now after spending hours applying. Truly disappointed. First photo was after application second photo today. Almost a perfect match to the Subaru Wilderness Copper color. This was so easy to work with! I do advise applying in warm temps or in direct sunlight to keep everything warm while placing around curved areas. Flexible and forgiving, which made my first time using it a great experience. Perfect subtle touch for my new car, highly recommend.

The color of the vinyl was very nice and it seemed like it had decent quality but the issue is the edges has poor quality control allowing frayed edges which causes the vinyl to separate after you start rolling it out you'll get a rip in it and you got to cut the piece and start all over again which happened to me multiple times. All the other colors I bought were fine it just seemed to be this dark blue one but it does look nice if you can deal with the frayed edges. I will wait and see how the adhesion goes but it seems the pieces I had to take off came off too easy for adhesive vinyl which hopefully won't be a problem.

We were installing the pinstripes and they are not crisp lines at all. They are very frayed on the edges which makes it look messy. Would not purchase these again. Will most likely pull it all off and go with a different vynal company.

We used it on our windows instead of having the decorative slats in between the thermal panes, which can cut down on the efficiency of the thermal windows. It looks and works great.

The roll was cut crooked leaving the strip to be un even and varying in thickness throughout the length of the tape

I wanted to pinstripe my black Camaro after seeing someone doing it online. This product has held up in Canadian winters and I've had no fading or peeling issues. The one caveat I would share is to be careful not to use too much at once, since if you make a mistake and need to remove it you will have a lot of slack and it tends to bunch up. Once it's folded or stuck to other pieces, I would say it doesn't come apart easily and almost 'damages' the tape. Meaning you'd have to cut that section out (and join the stripe with a new piece) since the creases and glue pulled off make the stripe somewhat shabby looking. Obviously not ideal if you want one seamless flowing line along the car body. I like this thickness, having ordered the wider pinstripe and find this resembles more like if someone had painted a line. Cares nowadays seems to be sporting much thicking lines which I think is too distracting. I sent my initiial order back to get this thickness instead. Just personal preference I guess. But great product. Really holds up. It's been on my car now for 3 years!

True to color and good adhesive. Stretchable enough for contours of the car, is a hairdryer to warm it for tight curves or use the hot summer sun to make it stretch a little better. Edge trimming not perfect so cut and check each full strip before installing. Appears to be non fading but check longer term reviews
