Got all the gunk out - works as it should
My tub has one of those drains that you need a screwdriver to open. And while some reviews state that you can snake the drain without removing it, it didn’t work for me without unscrewing the cap.The product worked as it was meant to, and pulled out major chunks of gunk. Because the plastic snake has “teeth” on it, it’s a pain to try to clean it. Even when wiping it with the direction of the teeth, you’ll need some gloves and something thicker than a paper towel to remove the gunk. Luckily the purchase came with 4, so I just threw away mine when done with the tub. It’s amazing how something this small made such a difference. The product is sturdy and held up even when I kept forcing it down and yanking it back up. I would definitely recommend this for slow draining tubs, sinks, or showers. If you found this helpful, please mark the review.

Must Have
These work perfectly as advertised. Be sure to push all the way in until you feel a blockage. After you hit a blockage, shimmy the snake back and forth, side to side and any which way you can. Once you pull out what appears to be a dead rat (hair ball) simply clean off the snake and repeat till it comes back clean! Must have for a house hold of people with long hair. AVOID DRAINO! Save your pipes, get this snake.

Works perfectly!!
You know, I would have taken a picture of the soap scum and hair that came out of the drain, but I didn't want anyone to barf on their phone/computer. I just want you to know that this thing works most excellently!!! I hate using chemicals, because if they don't work, you are left with a dangerous mess. These little plastic doo-dads are worth 10 times their weight in gold, or a plumber's $$$ bill!

LOVE these!
My shower drain CONSISTENTLY gets clogged with my hair, and after a while draino stops working. I used one of these snakes for the first time and MAN was I surprised at what it pulled out! These are awesome and I'll continue to buy them as mine wear out.

Tub drains fast now.
This works great to remove hair from the immediate drain opening in the tub. We have lots of guests, many with long hair and our tub was draining slowly even after treatment with chemical drain openers. A friend who is a home inspector suggested these little plastic snakes. He said you can get them at the 99 cents store but Amazon’s price was so close and they deliver so .... Good buy. Does the trick! No more slow drains.

Pulled the clog from my drain!
I wish I had purchased these things two months ago after using the plunger on my tub drain with no luck at all! Man do these things work! When they arrived, I immediately stuck one of the tools down the drain and couldn't believe the clogs of my wife's hair that came out with each pull. Took me less than five minutes and now the drain actually drains like it should! Now we're going to make sure to use a hair catcher over the drain.

Inexpensive fix!
This was a GREAT buy! You stuff the thin plastic rod into the drain. There are little pieces sticking out which catches the hair or other gunk in the drain. I didn't give it a 5 stars as it was difficult for me to get it to go down and then come out. But that could just be my drain. You may have no issues. LOT less expensive than a plumber!

Betterment
I had a clogged drain for a month. DrainO wasn’t helping. I told my son to help me, even though he doesn’t use that sink. Guess what? I did the clearing of my drain immediately with not one hair on the device after it was extracted! My five bucks and change saved the day.
