Thinning Scissors- Do Not Have To Be A Barbe

I purchased these for use on my dogs. They hate having long hair around their eyes and around their mouths (there are currently four in my home) and after eating they rub their faces on the wall, door casing, rugs, furniture, etc. Rubbing against a pair of white linen pants and staining them permanently set me on a hunt for a solution to my problem. My other half said, "Check AMAZON, if any place has anything like what we need, it's them!" He was right. We do our own grooming of our four adopted, spoiled rotten, little "kids" so we really needed something that would stand up to our furry things. These scissors work really well, and they don't have pointed edges, making it easier to clear away the hair around their eyes. They all have allergies to ragweed, pollens, etc. and they tend to have weeping when the seasons change or just on a high pollution day (our Cocker Spaniel is the worst at the weeping). The scissors are quiet so the clicking, snipping noise doesn't scare them, and with these scissors keeping the hair shorter, it is much easier to run a small comb through the area close to their eyes to remove the little clumps of eye boogers from them without any pain. Now we don't have to pull them from under the bed or corner them to brush them and keep them all groomed neatly around the mouths and eyes. And, in full honesty, I admit to cleaning the scissors well after using on them and easily trim my bangs to keep them out of my eyes until my next trim, LOL. They work quite well for me too.

They worked great in thinning my 6 year old boy's hair. I had no problems at all. They did not pull or snag hair in the process either, as many others do. They are stainless steel and a great value for your hard earned buck! I am very pleased with them.

These are strong and well made, with good blades. Their ease of use means no haircutting experience is necessary. You can use these for touch ups, trimming, or a full hair cut.

Good product for the price. As other reviewer wrote I would recommend them especially for children. My hair is very thick, work ok but takes a while to thin.

Good quality product. Haven't got a real chance to use it... I guess it is maily to get rid of some volume. And what I needed was a trimer. Anyway looks good, even do when it arrived it had some little hair between its teeth. Maybe it had been used? When I get a real chance to use it I'll update my review.

I thought these are NEW (even the label on the package said new), however, the blades were covered with lots of... HAIR!!! So gross! I immediately returned it.
