Honest & Real, A pilgrims insight, that scratches deep into our current institutional corruption !
Well, we certainly need real life visceral examples of where our society has gone astray, especially in its political prejudice and moralistically relative power grabs – But who would have though… in the institutional Art world itself, and to this degree !!!! Really !!!This is a fresh, honest, and very real example of how the Smithsonian itself is riddled with corruption, and it serves as a scalable blueprint for the same problem in all areas of society, and not just in the arts. However, the fact that the story is concentric around the art world, makes this wild tale exponentially more powerful and foreboding, as the art world is one of the last bastions where you would expect to find such political and moral infirmity.Ironically it takes a brave British immigrant artist to wake us up to this fact. It is undeniably admirable how his commitment and faith had kept him steadfast in his journey and war against the behemoth Smithsonian institution itself.Apart from being highly educational and well researched, this book will also keep you enthralled by the unfolding of the real-life personal story and life journey that parallels the exciting unfolding backdrop of corruption at the Smithsonian. A perfect mix of exciting personal narrative, political & cultural insight, sound academic research, and especially of what it means to follow the hero’s journey of faith in a postmodernist America.Highly Recommended.

I blurbed the book...and it's as good as I said!
I really think this book could become a great Hollywood comedy directed by someone like Wes Anderson, Alexander Payne, Quentin Tarantino, or the Coen Brothers. Or a horror movie if directed by Steve Soderbergh. It's funny and scary at the same time. One man against the system--but the system wins...However, the author gets a heck of a good tale to tell out of his confrontation with Authority. Read it and see for yourself!
