I like these containers for their size and for containing salt and spices for longer camping trips. They are durable and I know this because I have dropped various ones of these containers on the stone floors of my home a few times. The seals work well to keep moisture out and my salt from clumping like it would do if any moisture got in. I have seen some complaints about the gaskets, but I have some rubber rings on hand from lock top/bail top bottles that I purchased in the past and they fit perfectly. I believe that there are some of the gaskets for sale here on A_Z if someone wanted some spare gaskets or you can purchase a thin silicone sheet and make your own. I personally like the smooth finish and the different colors that are available so that, if the label comes off, I will know which spice is in which container without opening all of them. Well, I will know if I remember what spice I put in them if I remember. Haha. I find the lids easy to open even when my hands are a little slick from cooking oil/grease or a little stiff from cold. The openings are wide enough so that they are easy to fill with different spices from the jars that I use at home. I have not tried to put anything hot or cold in the containers as I feel they are to small for that and they are not insulated to start with. The only thing that I wish is that there was an option of three silver containers but this is a minor issue and not a deciding factor for me about the purchase. ---------------------- IN CONCLUSION ------------------------------------ These containers are well made and of a sufficient size that I use them in several ways when camping. I like these containers and will probably purchase more of them for various things in the future.

These jars are so handy! I use them to store coffee grounds and spices, and they keep everything super fresh with no odors leaking out. The airtight seal is excellent, and they feel solid and durable even though they’re lightweight. I also love the sleek look — the black, silver, and red make them easy to tell apart. Great size for travel or tossing in a bag. Definitely a great buy!

Great for my homeopathic herbal remedies......Durable, thick gauge aluminum won't dent easily....... Anodized (?) colors really pop [i got p,g,b] irl. Keeps my varietals visibly differentiated I, H, S :).......Threads mesh well but I'd give em a drop of mineral oil or something food safe just for good measure. (All aluminum-on-aluminum contact is squeaky imho)...........might be slightly bulky to be subtle in one's pocket, but I love them for home or to toss in a bag . My only suggestion is a slightly more robust o-ring seal. But the included ones are fine. The seal upgrade would take them over the top...... I thought the price was fair at $9.99 for 3 containers. Would buy again, but these ain't gonna break.

Small but awesome

Looked everywhere for a solidly made aluminium jar and found them, top quality, thick side walls and air tight. I like them so much I'm buying more and surprisingly fast postage.

Well made, the little rubber o-ring is durable, works fine, but pay attention to not inadvertently lose it. It normally stays put. These are waterproof when closed. I use them for meds when motorcycle camping. Nice and compact size. Also pack premixed seasonings in them. They are smooth finished but even in the rain and cold I’ve never had issue opening them. I’ve retrieved mine from a rain filled pocket and it was dry inside. I consider them waterproof.

Really good quality and completely smell proof

Very good quality to price, but a little thicker and heavier than I had expected and hoped for. I wanted to carry things safely and dry, such as medicine and other things while hiking, and thus I value a light weight item. These were just a litle thick, and slightly heavier than need be. Maybe the same item would be more light weight yet had a good structural integrity if it had been milled down with several grooves and bands around it? Let's say that this is a request for a product like that, and it would make it more labor intensive to manufacture, but the product would likely sell well. I did try to find a titanium jar at first but the ones I could find were not water proof like these, so I went with this product, but as I said, even though aluminium they still weigh a little more than expected due to the thickness of the material. They are very pretty though.
